Also the "20 Somethings" that just got out of college with their degree in Communications saying...

"Screw that... I'm not getting dirty...I'm a college graduate."

And that is not just confined to "20 Somethings". I've always believed if a job needs doing and I'm not doing anything and am capable, there is no good reason why I couldn't be doing it.

The only people I know who say that are retired people with cushy public servant pensions.

I can't help it if you don't know many people!

It is horrible here in Massachusetts. Our latest was a city mayor filling in for the city Fire Chief in a no show position to add $36K to his pension. The current Fire Chief took a temporary demotion for a short time to allow the Mayor to pad his pension.

Michael Moore Refuses To Admit He Is Part Of The 1% To Piers Morgan

The activist trolls and celebs (all multi millionaires) that spew their hypocrisy are some of the worst offenders. They egg-on their sheep. Getting the bleets and tweets they so love to see.

Look at what I've done! I'm making a difference. I'm important. They love me. They listen to me.

Michael Moore is an Academy Award-winning documentary filmmaker who spends much of his time traveling the promote his political ideals. Given his background, Piers Morgan seemed skeptical of Moore’s claims that he, too, was the famed 99% behind the Occupy Wall Street protests. Before a studio audience in a special edition of Piers Morgan Tonight, the host pressed Moore to explain just how he wasn’t a part of the nation’s economic elite, and got little clarification other than Moore’s desire the corporation that pays him “rue the day” they ever gave him money.

The inquiry came from Twitter, where one user asked why Moore appeared so disgusted by capitalism despite benefiting greatly from capitalism. “I’m here talking against my own interests– what’s wrong with me?” he joked, but didn’t really answer the question, other than to claim that “for a documentary filmmaker, I do very well.” When Morgan pushed him to explain how “very well” did not translate to elite levels of wealth, he merely said he felt “blessed,” given his high school education level, and claimed that “they made a huge mistake, putting me on TV.”
Moore continued to bash the wealthy, distancing himself from “a system that is unfair to working people” and concluding of the people that funded his first film, “I hope they rue the day.” He did not give any numbers to explain how his lifestyle did not conform with theirs.

So does Naomi Klein, but that doesn't stop her from making some excellent points.

And they are?

Check out disaster capitalism.

She basically shows how a completely free market without any regulation is harmful.

It's not a knock on capitalism, but laissez-faire capitalism. Really entertaining read actually.

ACORN Playing Behind Scenes Role in 'Occupy' Movement

The former New York office for ACORN, the disbanded community activist group, is playing a key role in the self-proclaimed “leaderless” Occupy Wall Street movement, organizing “guerrilla” protest events and hiring door-to-door canvassers to collect money under the banner of various causes while spending it on protest-related activities, sources tell FoxNews.com.
The former director of New York ACORN, Jon Kest, and his top aides are now busy working at protest events for New York Communities for Change (NYCC). That organization was created in late 2009 when some ACORN offices disbanded and reorganized under new names after undercover video exposes prompted Congress to cut off federal funds.

Boy they flocked around him.

I like how they asked him to go with them on their next march at the end... and he's admittedly one of the 1% and fully in support of capitalism.

Those bonus do not come out of company profits from dining business. They bailouts come from taxpayers via a Government sanctioned 'gift' because the 'administrators' failed at running a business that was profitable and that means the stock-holders should see their stocks tumble in price and how happy would they be about that?

The banks and companies are not responsible for paying back that money, the taxpayers who are not stockholders or employees are the ones footing the bills so how can you claim that the various companies earned it when banker fraud saw some in Iceland being sent to jail for the same sort of activity.

Also, why are US taxpayers no supporting bailouts in Europe with the same deal, they pay the debt their Gov create via bailout funds, this isn't chimp change were're talking about.

I know the recent bonuses were paid by taxpayers through the stimulus packages, but these guys were paid for years from company funds. Question, why hold the companies responsible when it was the politicians who authorized them to do it. Companies only did what they were allowed to do. Those Wall Street protesters should be protesting the White House, Congress and the House of Representatives. When the Chimps are running the show all we get is chimp change.

If you have an income of $75,000, you are in the top 1% of people in the world.
Are you attempting to be deceitful or are you just not on the ball. The 1% in question is for the US only and the stats for them are 1.5% earn over $250,000. Why use the wages of the biggest and poorest nation (China and India for example) to try and show the OWS crowd is 'against anyone making more than $75,000

This is the chart to use

Oh, forgive me, please allow me to clarify.

A salary of $75,000 puts you in the top 1% in the world. This whining about the 1% in the US simply shows how myopic most of these protestors are; they would be among the very well off elsewhere, even with the tents in a park.

Well fed, well coddled, with all the toys imaginable, they still act like they're oppressed.

Is that better?

Global Rich List

I would unofficially say you are correct, Marin County, California is the richest county in the entire U.S. with a per capita income at just under $45,000.............................surprised me (but that probably includes kids)

Oh, forgive me, please allow me to clarify.

I think you are "selling them a little short", I think they are just frustrated and don't really know why. Of course anyone who owns a home, has a job, a vehicle, and is able to cover all their bills without going into is indeed very fortunate. The media is probably as much to blame as everyone as with sensationalized stories like Ken Lay, and Bernie Madoff many people think everyone who wears a suit is like them.

Yep. So much whining, so little gratitude.

When a toddler craps their drawer's, they too are frustrated and they "don't know why"... That kid will figure-out the cause of their frustration long before they hit their 20's

The OWS pinheads are acting no different, except for the fact that they feel that they deserve something that they haven't earned and are angry that there are people that have more material goods than them... They simply haven't figured-out that in order to gain those material items or wealth, you have to trade something (ie work) for a suitable form of consideration (ie. money).

Of course anyone who owns a home, has a job, a vehicle, and is able to cover all their bills without going into is indeed very fortunate.

Very fortunate and/or have worked hard AND produced something of value for which they are compensated.... No one just gave them the funds to buy that home and car.
