So this is their big chance for a Sharia democracy because Sharia can work within a democracy?

Sharia law in one country is different than in another - Seems they all have a different spin on it - And by gar theirs is the only correct interpretation- - And no it would not work in a western democracy due to the discrimination inherent in Sharia Law towards women.

Yep, my point exactly.

Thanks for finally getting that.

Why do you keep going through all the usual silliness, only to agree with me in the end?

As usual, a excellent example of the problems associated with over consumption of narcotics.

Maybe if you weren't so high, or so stupid, you would have been able to understand that I didn't, and still don't support the action taken in Libya.

So you don't support the actions and decisions of those who you constantly support? You will never get to head office or see inside the vaults.

Turkey seems to be making head way. Rife with struggle and clash, but trying to succeed none the less.
Socially and geo-politically Turkey is leaps and bounds ahead of the average Islamic nation. They've been a trading nation for aeons in contact with several cultures and religions which helped fine tune their political structure. There is more than just Islam practised in Turkey. What are the odds Libya is as socially diverse and influenced by it's diversity?

With approx 40-45 K dead with the war with the Kurds - They are just recently starting to receive rights. Why - Due to pressure from the EU -

You asked, I answered. There is no need to make excuses.

I don't know why you have such a low opinion of Muslims.

You really should ease up on the dope dude. It's making you a, well, a dope.

Hey, that's the low low quality of reply that exemplifies the bank thug ilk. You revert to the primary schoolyard level when a little tiny pressure and speed is demanded. In other words, the head on a beer has more depth.

I agree, the head on a beer holds more substance than your average post.

Yeah it is. The past 6 years are what pushed me over the edge. The propaganda is working.
I guess this means you've reached the bottom of your bag of BS?

So lets get on with a good discussion - Both of you are brighter than that.

As i mentioned yesterday the interim PM is resigning. Now the hard part begins - Power struggles - - Tribal loyalties - Revenge - Libya can easily go down the tubes.

Libyans urged to resolve rivalries after Muammar Gaddafi’s death | News | National Post

MISRATA, Libya – Libya’s interim prime minister said he was resigning on Saturday and urged new leaders to seize a “very limited opportunity” and resolve rivalries now surfacing after Muammar Gaddafi’s death.

With regional differences emerging about what to do with Gaddafi’s still unburied body, the formal end to the war and the carve-up of power, Libya’s outgoing premier said the coming days posed a crucial test of resolve for the new men in power.

Mahmoud Jibril confirmed he would step down on Saturday after seven months as prime minister of the Western-backed rebel government now that the legal declaration of “liberation” was expected on Sunday following Gaddafi’s killing on Thursday.

But in a parting shot at an international business forum in Jordan, he warned Libyans to avoid in-fighting if Libyans were to keep to a plan to hold their first free election next year.

You are pathetic, the only reason anyone plays with you is for boot exercise.

Libya is in ruins and its people are to become slaves of the stinking filthy private bankers. What do you think "going down the tubes means"??

They are not inflicting Democracy - Allah Forbid - Qaddafi stated that he would kill his enemies - Translation - Massive slaughter - So we are not "Inflicting Democracy".

http://fullcomment.nationalpost.com...partly-explain-what-makes-someone-a-dictator/

Cunning, cruel, flamboyant and eccentric, at times Muammar Gaddafi seemed a parody of the villains that populate James Bond novels. But the colonel, who died Thursday without his battalion of all-female bodyguards but with his gold-plated pistol, doesn’t stand alone as a victim of the psychosis of power. He shares a long tradition with fellow dictators who have a penchant for crazy titles, weird philosophies, megalomaniac monuments and arbitrary social strictures.

What was vintage Gaddafi was also classic behaviour for dictators.

If I recall correctly, Gaddafi's golden gun was found during the ransacking of his palace. I guess he had a bunch of them.

We need to get out of Libya now and let the people decide what they want. The only thing our government should do is make damn sure that Canadian companies run their businesses honorable, if that is possible.

This is a tribal country, each with their own ideas and we can be sure that things will not be easy and skirmishes may probably break out now and then. I hope not and I wish them all the best but human nature is not easy to deal with. Just look at this form, how many times have we all agree!!!!!
