I don't know how they got racism out of this. At all.
Oh because i compaired the Religion to a cult, and because the words "Middle aged WHITE male" where typed from my fingers. The bloody morons. >.<

As for the whole idea that interpol should become involved, if the ICC won't, here is my question. With it being based as an EU organization DO they have any standards of involvement with the United states, or ANY western country at all?

how would that work? Does anyone know?

Yes, frequently.

Ya, I've heard this complaint before. Usually uttered by people who have issues with a decision, do not understand the mandate or jurisdiction of the Court, or confuse it with the ICJ

It can be confusing. From what I understand certain powers do not become part of their jurisdiction until approx 2017.

All kid diddlers must be thrown in jail, no matter what country the RCC sent them hide out .

And The Holy Roman Catholic Church has been found, in many countries, time and again to be complicit in covering up child rapists, transferring to other dioceses, hiding them away. The leadership should be held accountable for complicity in Child Molestation. The only reason they have not is the political power they wield.

The war mongers and their apologists have done far more harm to children through rape and murder than the RCC has done.

Again deflection from the issue - You are such a good RC. Slavish is the term that is appropriate, along with lacking in morals.

How many more excuses before you accept that the Holy RC Church did as i mentioned - Protected child rapists - Oh i am sure that your type will find another excuse. Fukin sad.

Now off to confessional. Tell the Priest how you defend them.

Not really, the clause that may be discussed as early as 2016, is an opt out of war crime liability.

Hey quick!!!

Look over there >>>>>>>>

Way to go Abtfet!!!

Yes, you're so right Abtfet, it's OK that criminals go free, and keep abusing children, because other criminals are being ignored at present.

Like I said before, you just have to love and laugh at that kind of logical inconsistency.

I wonder why you don't have the same logical position when it comes to Cops. LOL.

I'll back this when the fu cking americans, their polititions, and their leaders get the same consideration for the fu cking murders they've perpetrated.

Don't forget the Canadians in Libya!

You have some nerve calling ES a child killer, when you defend child molesters, protect them and their enablers.

Some nerve indeed.

Correction... According to Gerry I'm a "Baby Killer".

Gerry... have you found any evidence to back that up yet?

Well what did you mean by this if I may ask?

I do think concepts like international courts are great, but really, currently the rich and less-hated countries (by other rich countries) get away with things. Because they can.

I don't mean to suggest the ICC is exclusively a political court, but their jurisdiction is limited and I've yet to see them go after a rich country (that's signed the Rome Statue) that's favoured by other rich countries.

Christianity used to be considered a cult when it was less popular. That's really the only requirement for something to be considered a cult, abnormality or oddness. It's not unacceptable to call religion a cult, since cult has historically been in the eyes of the beholder (essentially, every religion everywhere - at one point or another - has been considered a cult, or called a cult).

And certainly what goes on in the Vatican is cultish. The idea that this one person is the voice of god (the supreme and omnipotent being) and infallible is really creepy. That's a cult of personality if I've ever seen one.

... And what goes on in any college fraternity is no different. In fact, you can make the very same arguments directed at fraterneties as you can the Vatican.

The biggest problem here is that the the focus is exclusively on one individual body that exists within thousands in the overall group. There is no religious order (the polygamist groups especially come to mind) or profession with exposure to children (including teachers, doctors or dentists) that is immune to this accusation.

That said, if your goal is to clean up these organizations and seek justice for the victims', you had better be ready to drag all of these groups into the International Courts as well as the RCC.

Well what did you mean by this if I may ask?

I meant exactly what i said, The whole idea that just because this issue has jumped up and a masses of people follow the religion that is the central bases of this State (country or what ever it may be referred to) that it would appear they are exempt from the punishments that should be coming.

they are no better then a cult, if you look at it with out the rose coloured glasses of following the faith the religion is based on. The entire RCC is a cult following right down to the profile established by history of arresting cults.

If it wasn't for the fact that the religion is one of accepted practices (why most of them are accepted i don't personally know, but to each their own) how would people feel about the ICC intervening if it was simply a cult compound over a religious icon?

That is the question i think everyone including the nations involved and the ICC should look at; If this wasn't so heavily based in religious practice what would the out come be?

That was all i was trying to get across, though because i labeled race and skin tones, people became all up in arms over the idea, and even came out with the erroneous comparison that If A Middle aged white male is most likely to be a cult leader that Most violent gang leaders would be Black males. -_-;

It was utterly ridiculous, and something that i kicked in the pants quickly.

I was also a bit of a well Troll, by posting a bit of a statistic >->; And commenting all the way through about how they where a bunch of idgits who didn't know the basic ways of GOOGLE.. :/

The ICC ain't going there, although I agree they should. This matter must be dealt with.
The present Pope was guilty of hiding this stuff, and taking a passive response to the
misery of so many. Gerry is also right, if we are going to investigate the Pope then the
politicians of a number of countries should also be put to scrutiny and we know that will
not happen.
I am as I said a retired Catholic for the very reasons that the church ducked in over all
responsibility on a lot of issues. I also object to their right wing stance on most issues.
They use the traditions of the church to exclude so many from their faith. I am a person
who is not marginalized except that I am not a strict conservative.
I am liberal on most social issues including pro choice, I am a fiscal conservative but not
a social conservative. the church seems to have a one dimensional view of the world
and that is where they got themselves into trouble for over a century. They believe they
have a divine right to do what they please and its time the world courts informed them
other wise. Let the investigation begin.

Why would you investigate an insitiution when it's a few people that need to be investigated? People are the problem regardless of their religion or political stripe. So there!

The institution in itself needs to be investigated for a lot of things not just it sexual abuse.
I agree that portion should be investigations of people not the institution itself including
the Pope. This weasel was not only partly responsible for the lack of due diligence in the
sex abuse, he was even in the Hitler Youth Movement. And don't go saying everyone was
it doesn't wash with me.
This church also participated in financial scandals and they even participated in the Odessa
yes smuggling Nazis to South America to avoid justice. For its past deeds it should be
fingered as a criminal organization that has got away with all kinds of from crimes since the
middle ages right up to the present day.
This is why I left a long time ago. I don't believe everything about the church is bad I just
believe there has been so much water under the bridge the reputation of the church is not
able to be saved

member of the armed forces...a war monger.

So a Police Officer would then be a crime monger

A person that covers up, protects child rapists would be - Tell us what that person would be?

A person that ignores child rape because there are other ills in the world would be - Tell us what that person would be?

You can't blame the current pope for belonging to Hitler youth. At that time it was much like a Russian belonging to the communist party. For most it was simply a survival mechanism.
