Osama Bin Laden's family thought he was a nutcase, and sent him packing with a bag full of money (the Bin Laden family are the Rockefellers of Mideast Construction, which is how OBL knew that the twin towers, and not the Empire State Building, had design aspects that would turn them into crumbling flames if hit with firebomb cruise-missiles like they were).

Furthermore, even Al Quieda thought he was kind'a cracked... but he kept paying the bills with that bag-full of money his family kicked him out with.

Now, the thing is, Al Quieda isn't a big operation. Per capita they're about the same percentage of Muslims as the north American White-Pride neo-Nazis are of Christians, and they have an interesting policy in common, which is that it's better, and more effective, to have a small number of totally dedicated members than lots of so-so members... and they're right; it only took about a dozen-or-so very dedicated souls to take down the Twin Towers, whereas if they'd been a larger organization with lots of wishy-washies they'd have been ground down to the mundane like Taliban and Hammas.

What that means is, because they were a small, uber-concentrated nucleus of very hard-core dedicates, the real response should have been to kick into gear covert-ops intelligence and assassins. That's what they're there for. You don't take out worms like Al Quieda with mass bombings. They're just going to sit in their caves playing gin until the bombing stops. You take them out with intelligence and assassins.

Okay, so Bush had to do something big to show the American people that he was reacting to the attack, and so Afghanistan was hit, which wouldn't have been so bad if they'd actually had an occupation plan to back it up, in order to actually restructure the place after kicking out Taliban, but Bush had no such plan (you can't use troops to be cops; troops are trained to win battles, not be cops; that's a totally different kind of training), and then that FUBAR on Iraq pushed America's international credibility beyond the drop to spill the cup.

Therefore, the response should have been:

1) Taliban get bombed out of Afghanistan by the US.

1.1) Canadian forces *protecting* Canadian RCMP trainers move in.

1.1.1) The RCMP trainers teach the locals how to be cops.

This all has the effect of enabling Jack-and-Jane average feeling like their government is doing its job.

2.0) Unbeknownst to them and in the mean time, the real work of weeding out Al Quieda is being done by intelligence and assassins.

In other words, covert ops was the way to handle that one.

Now, because this is a Canadian forum, I'm going to explain something that might not be known by Canadians.

In most nations, Covert Service works in two branches: Intelligence and Ops. Ops is code for assassins.

Canada is the only member of the G8 who's Covert Service does *only* Intelligence, with *no* Ops branch. No assassins, and yes there are those who think maybe she should reconsider that position, as a function of the situation.

That means for OPI 9/11 to have worked:

- Two birds are killed with one stone, with Canada de-Talibanizing and civilizing Afghanistan via RCMP police trainers protected by Canadian forces so north Americans can think a forceful response has been done to the attack,

- American covert Ops weeds out Al Quieda with the help of Canadian intelligence, because Canadian intelligence only does Information, but not Ops, however the Information is World Class, so it could be passed on to the Yanks with their Ops division.

Instead, we just got a f-cked up waste of money with no results and lots of wasted lives spawned by Goldman's Sack taking over government and doing as much damage to the internal economy with the last recession as their government did not fix overseas.

Do you have any idea how simple it would be to reveal Goldman's Sack-holes to be the puppets of Lucifer racing the world to Armageddon by turning north America into the Beast?

and yet, 10 years later, ALL Muslims are reminded, and blamed, for what a few demented nut cases did to america.

No, ALL Muslims are NOT blamed for what a few demented nut cases did to America. Only a truly paranoid fool, or someone as ignorant as dirt, would think that they are.

BUT, a large majority of the Muslims in the Middle East and in South Asia ARE blamed for the fact that many of their people danced in the streets, rejoiced like crazy, over the fact that those "demented nut cases" had crashed airplanes into two office buildings and had murdered thousands of innocent people in the process.

You may not remember the pictures of those events happening, but a LOT of people in the USA do remember them. People were having a party in the streets, celebrating the fact that those two buildings had been destroyed. They celebrated in Damascus, in Beirut, in virtually every city in the Middle East.

People in the USA also noticed that the vast majority of Muslim clergy did not condemn the people that did these evil deeds. They do not condemn the people that are still trying to do even more heinous things to Americans. Instead, they send money to the schools where this kind of hatred is taught.

They help to support the tribal system that keeps teaching that people that murder others will be in Paradise, with virgins to comfort them. They continue to support those that teach that it is perfectly fine to destroy other "people of the book", when the Prophet specifically stated that to do this is wrong.

The Muslim leadership continues to allow those that call for the total and complete destruction of Israel to maintain their leadership and their control of huge numbers of the Muslim faithful;.

They continue to collect money in their Mosques, to send to the fanatics to purchase weapons, to train Jihadists to destroy all Western values (along with those that support such values).

Are all Muslims responsible for what happened on September 11, 2001? NO THEY ARE NOT.

Is the Muslim religion responsible for what happened on September 11, 2001? YES, TO SOME EXTENT IT IS, because far too many Muslims continue to tolerate the fanatics, they continue to support those factions of the Muslim religion that preach hatred and that teach the the murder of others is perfectly acceptable and that it is specifically called for in the Koran; and because far too many "moderate" Mosques financially support the fanatical wings of the Muslim religion.

Were any Christian church to call for the total destruction of any Muslim country, it would be immediately condemned by the vast majority of Christians in the world.

Yet the Muslims around the world continue to not only tolerate those that call for the utter destruction of Israel, but they actively support the idea and they financially support the cause. And they despise anyone that calls attention to the fact that they are doing this.

But, they do NOT condemn the people that could have formed the country of Palestine in 1947. They do not condemn Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, Yemen, etc. that had it in their power to form an independent country of Palestine at any time between 1947 and 1967.

No, the Muslims choose to blame Israel, when Israel only took control of Gaza and the West Bank after the 1967 war.

What about the 20 years when MUSLIMS had total and complete control of those territories? What about the 20 years when MUSLIMS had total control of all of the Holy sites, and refused to allow any Israeli to even come into that part of the city?

You feel that your religion was "hijacked"?

Bull manure, piled very, very high indeed.

Your religion was hijacked back in 1947, and it has remained on a destructive course ever since. YOUR MUSLIM RELIGION has chosen to destroy, and to support destruction. It has chosen to support those that advocate murder, rape, torture, kidnapping for ransom, killing innocent men, women and children, the destruction of markets, cafes and public places.

Your religion tells people that strap on explosives, and that detonate them in crowded places that they will go to Paradise for doing such things.

Your religion condones the murder of fellow Muslims, because they belong to a different faction of the religion.

You want to be seen as "enlightened"? Get your religion out of the 5th century, condemn all blood feuds, stop teaching that murdering others is the path to paradise, prohibit the collection of money that goes to people that murder others, stop using the Red Crescent to support murder, etc., etc., etc.

It is YOUR choice whether your religion is "hijacked" or not.

Strange isn't it, that when presented with FACT, the leftist liberals shut up. They simply can not refute facts. jerryh simply has nothing to say about how his fellow Muslims, all around the world, behaved on September 11-12-13, 2001. Or about how the deafening silence from virtually every leader of any significance in the Muslim world about the attacks of 9/11 appeared as nothing less than condoning those attacks to the non-Muslim world. Or, how virtually no Muslim leaders in the USA or in Canada have made any attempt to go on National Television, or written any Op-Ed pieces in Major Newspapers condemning the people that did those awful deeds AND the religious teachers that taught them that this kind of behavior is justified.

Yes, it is wrong to attack Muslims because of the behavior of others. Nobody should be going "hate crimes" against anyone of Muslim ancestry, religion, etc. To do so is criminal behavior, and it should be punished as such.

However, that is NOT why NATO attacked Afghanistan. It was not because of the 9/11 attacks. it was because the Taliban government in Afghanistan was not only allowing Osama bin Ladin sanctuary in their country, but were also allowing him to train terrorists in their country, were supplying him and his terrorists with weapons; and essentially told the rest of the world that they would continue doing exactly that

So come on jerry h, how about discussing some of the issues that I have raised. What about the crowds of people that were dancing in the streets of every Muslim city in the world following 9/11? How about the Iman's, and other leaders of the Muslim religion refusing to condemn behavior of that type?

Let's get it all out in the open, and discuss these issues like civilized people. Lets actually deal with TRUTH, and not propaganda for a change.

You want to bring up the Israeli issue, lets do exactly that, and at the same time let's bring up the Arab issue of their 20 years of totaly control of "Palestine". Both sides have committed wrongs, and frankly, neither side has any intent to "compromise" at this point. But, the Palestinians idea of "compromise" has essentially beem "All Israeli's leave, we get total control of everything, and that will settle things".

As the old saying goes, "An eye for an eye". The only problem with that is: You end up with a lot of blind people.

Right now, there is no price attached to it, so you can safely sit on both sides of the fence.

Wrong conclusion. Many family members will protect their own. What many fail to understand is how their religion is their family. Much of their lives are related to the Mosque. The same way many do business within their ethnic group when possible.
They have yet to assimilate as others have done in some cases, many have others not so much but it will occur, takes time is all. So for that they are condemned. Ludicrous to do that and hateful.

Lie, but you, like your other american brethern live in a fairy tale world where nothing you do is wrong.

I never mentioned Isreal, that was your thing. As for an eye for an eye, you and your country have gone well beyond an eye for an eye analogy. A little over 3000 killed on 11/11/01 and we're are well over 1/2 million killed since then, and not by AQ.

By the way, I am not Muslim.

Fair enough, but it doesn't wash, especially in light that the lives of others can be irrevocably altered.

They have yet to assimilate as others have done in some cases, many have others not so much but it will occur, takes time is all. So for that they are condemned. Ludicrous to do that and hateful.

The natural argument now focuses on the policy of multiculturalism. That said, in so far as 'condemnation' is concerned, as another poster pointed out, by not condemning the actions of the "few", it is sometimes interpreted as tacit support.

It is not the job of outside communities to provide the impetus or explanations for others.
