Nope still looking for the piece they find at all other plane crashes except this one.
Maybe when you find the missing dumpsters, you'll have you answers.

Nice mats by the way.

Home depot?

Anyone know where they shiped all the WTC debree?
Did they find a good place to hide it so no one could go looking in it
for clues?
Do I have to explain to you how a conversation works?

Problem, It is far too big for a dumpster.
The engine?

As I look at the picture of the RB 211. With a tech standing next to it. I'd say it would fit in a standard 60 yard dumpster, easily, after being bounced off the ground....

Ya I bet that must of been a nice pile of great steel.
Ahhh, that's cute, angst is giving me the silent treatment, because he got fed his own words.

It's ok little guy, when you grow up, hopefully you won't make it so easy for people to help you, make yourself look like a fool.

He doesn't need any help with that. That is one of the things that he is real good at.

In the bush near Sudbury
Wing box (once upon a time a simple spar) is that portion of wing from port engine nacelle to starboard engine nacelle, aft of the leading edge and forward of the flaps. It's pretty big....

Could it be damaged beyond recognition, upon impact at speeds of 500mph, with the ground?

The engine?
No. The wing box. It's the part the wings, engine and landing gear are all connected to. They are huge and 1/3 the mass of an entire commercial aircraft.

This is what the wing box did in Lockerbie.

Guess what? It was there. They found it.

It's ****ing huge and it's the strongest part of an aircraft. It's also the safest place to sit atop because of it's strength.

FBI spokesman Bill Crowley said that the largest piece of plane (UA 93)
recovered was a shred of fuselage skin that covered four windows -- a piece
seven feet long from a jetliner that was 155 feet long. The heaviest piece, he
said, was a half-ton section of engine fan.

"The conclusion of the investigation is that no explosives were used on board
the plane," Crowley said yesterday. He would not elaborate further.

And this leads you to believe what exactly?

It leads me to believe in magic.
That doesn't answer the question petros...

Here's another one...

When in the timeline, were these claims of the size of recovered pieces made?

BTW would you use water on an aluminum fire?
Nope, but not even the local fire dept has enough Class D agent in their arsenal to deal with a crash of that size.

Not that resorting to water is not common place, for a mixed material fire as a crash is.

The "claims" were made by FBI post conclusion of their investigation.
SHANKSVILLE, Pennsylvania (CNN) -- The FBI announced Monday that its
investigation of the site where a hijacked jet slammed into a field here is
complete and that 95 percent of the plane was recovered.

The federal
investigation into the September 11 terrorist attacks
continues.

Evidence-gathering was halted Saturday afternoon and the
pieces of United Airlines Flight 93 that had been recovered were turned over
Sunday to the airline, with the exception of the flight data recorder and the
voice recorder, which are being held and analyzed by the FBI, according to FBI
agent Bill Crowley.

Crowley said the biggest piece of the plane that was
recovered was a 6-by-7-foot piece of the fuselage skin, including about four
windows. The heaviest piece, Crowley said, was part of an engine fan, weighing
about 1,000 pounds.

Mixed materials like alumium, copper and fuel? The instant water hit it those firemen would have been toast in a hydrogen explosion and not hosing it down as stated in the link supplied by DaS. You can't tell me those firefighters didn't read their OSHA manual and pass the test without knowing that.

As for what I believe? I believe there are some big ass pieces missing because those in charge of the airspace did what they had to do.

Either that or Jessica Lynch was there first and took it all on by herself.
