Were you in Vietnam? Any other conflict or war?
I'm Canadian. Why would I have been in Nam? Why was the US in Nam? To protect American mining interests. You had no business killing people in Nam, that is why they were trying to kill you, just like in Iraq and Afghanistan. The only reason the US starts wars with third world countries is for the profit of the war mongers. They kill your young for profit. Anybody who thinks they are serving their country is nuts. Your military is nothing more than mercenaries for the military/industrial complex. Our Canadian troupes are turning into the same under Harpo.

But even if I had not been hit by a logging truck, I still would not have joined any military to go kill people in foreign lands. You think that is patriotism. I think is is plain murder. I know from first hand accounts what went on in Nam and Iraq and it has nothing to do with what your government is telling us it is.

Again you don't know Jack. I do not support abortion but I do not suppose I have a right to tell a woman what she can or cannot do. That is a human right. It is also a straw man argument that not only is fraudulent but off topic, as usual.

Not so much "off topic" if you take into consideration the 1st payout of Obama after taking office was to pro-abortion and he still pays out for the same constantly. Reasons are obvious if one checks out where his campaign funds came from. However, "Abortion" goes beyond the woman's rights and enters into Humanity's Evolutionary Rights. For example, if Obama's Mamma had aborted him we would not be in this forum :) Or if Henry Ford's Mother aborted him we might not be riding around in cars. Edison would have left us in darkness... and so on. A "woman" has the right to use intelligent common sense and not get pregnant in a selfishly passionate and inconsiderate (to Life) moment in time. It is so easy to avoid respect for Life and responsibility on the part of pro-abortion (anti-lifers) rather than discuss intelligence and maturity in using appropriate methods to avoid pregnancy. Also, pro-abortioners like to cover-up facts based on statistics > based on research: For example > one study demonstrated that over 70% of the participating women (all had aborted) suffer from emotional and psychological negative effects... a high percentage from spontaneous abortion or the incapacity to become pregnant when they desire to have a child after an abortion took place... and on.
Let's be honest, in most cases the question of abortion comes about due to ignorance and immaturity in prevention of pregnancy on the part of 'him' or 'her' and in fact both! Extreme passion... alcohol or drugged-out... lack of planning... lack of Love... lack of awareness... and certainly lack of maturity with regards to responsibility to one or the other and Life Itself. Why don't pro-abortionists focus on 'Prevention' instead of killing humans in their biological and anatomical first stage of development? Many, because their defense is a personal cover-up or justification for the abortion they had performed...
Obama has, and he has beside him in his cabinet, one of the most notorious anti-life humans on the Planet Earth. Someone who has written and published that children under the age of 8 year old and people over the age of 60 cannot be considered 'human' due to their non productive abilities within mainstream (commercial) society / humanity. Their common goal is to reduce the population of PLanet Earth by billions. O' yes! Abortion is a precision topic with regards to the Presidency of Obama!

Still waiting for your ''proof'', Gregg.

I was truly precise with the "A+B+C" for your elementary status-quo. Find it yourself! It is there for everyone to see! Don't use these sentence inserts "....waiting..." as an escape route from the truth of what I have written here in the forum. If you are not capable of doing a simple researcxh on the Internet? It would be better that you do not arrogantly criticize those that can!

I heard it was billions.

Not worth replying to. However, I am attracted to absurdities like yours. The World Population is less than 7 Billion = FACT! You and your Fan Admirer are really low within the human deficit ranks. What have you ever done (sacrificed) attempting to do what is right for Humanity or any one population on the Planet? Anything? Or have you just sat around taking cheap shots at those who did scrifice theri lives for 'Someone Else'. Why don't you and ping-pong who you support here.. do something to put an end to conflicts... wars... loss of human life; and, get back to the others here when you have something worthwhile saying. The truly unfortunate and sad part is that: Those who sacrificed did so also for those like you and ping-pong!

Reminds me of when I took my so-called obligatory mini vacation from combat in Vietnam during my 13 month tour. I had been wounded in the months prior and was separated from the Marine Unit I was assigned to. When I took those so-called free days I elected to go Sydney Australia. When checking into the hotle, I asked the receptionis to please place a call to my parents in the USA with whom I had not been in contact with (for obvious reasons) for some time. I was in the DMZ area during my time in Vietnam. Shortly after, the phone rang in my room and the receptionist said she would connect me with my parents. When she did so: My Mother felt faint when I said "Hi Mom!" and silence fell on the phone until my Father came on the line accusing me (whoever I was) of a sick practical joke, because their son had been killed in combat action several months before.

What is sick about Obama is that he said he presented the Medal of Honor in person! What is scary about Obama is that he is capable of mistakes like this at all levels and in all areas involving the USA.

Bumbling Bernanke Bamboozled By Broken Bounce-back

"Ben, maintaining this faith is your sacred obligation. No journalist will call you a liar if your prognostications turn out to be dead wrong; after all there is never any accountability in Washington. But everyone will blame you if you start to look the fool. You are safe for the moment as your boss can't turn you into a scapegoat without admitting that he's equally clueless. But if we're sitting here in the summer of 2012 with 10% unemployment, 10% inflation, and negative economic growth who do you think will be the first to walk the plank?"

What is even scarier that the slavish, slippery, slimy and slobbering left-wing media give him a free pass.

With your delicate way of putting things, I'm sure some people would think you are trying to get into Obama's "inner circle".

I'd say he is a disappointment. He isn't doing much better (if any better) than Bush was with the wars/deficit. He hasn't brought change to Washington, at least not good change. In his first two years he had a majority in congress and he could have done better in many areas with that majority. I think he has been too nice with Republicans and made too many concessions to them when he didn't need to. But, he has another year and a half, potentially a second term. If the Republicans can't come up with anyone better than the current lineup I think a second term is virtually guaranteed.

Though I do recognize that the office of President does have quite a few limitations when it comes to domestic affairs.

Obama getting a second term is not neccessarily a bad thing. If the Dems get full control of Congress... then that coupled with an Obama second term could be real bad.

At this point they HAVE to work together. They have to compromise with each other.

I think checks and balances are needed. When the GOP owned both houses and the Executive Office they did absolutely nothing but screw things up. Then when the Dems won it all back they made things worse.

Individual states (governors and state houses) do have more control over themselves for the most part, the President mainly has say over foreign affairs sort of a coordinator depending on how the senate and house are split. We do work much better when there is a division between the parties.

Oh didn't you know? Bush was a Godsend, an angel, the paradigm of political perfection compared to Obama.

With your delicate way of putting things, I'm sure some people would think you are trying to get into Obama's "inner circle".

"Some people" > Do not count at all what they think. You do not have to be an overheated and far out human entity to communicate. In fact, the masses prefer stabilized and professional (educated) approaches when confronting others. That is why they elect into office or follow in their churches, synagogues, temples, mosques, etc. with reverence and "Blind Faith" those who act in a well mannered, rational, and respectful way.

Getting into "Obama's > inner circle" is something I always attempt to do! Because, if I could get the same attention Obama and the others would be sitting outside and "We the People" inside. Obama wins the jug-heads with words found within a "Dream". No one is cofronting him with basic logic and intelligence that could turn dreamers into peaceful activists for both America and Humanity as a whole.

The 'Obama's' throughout the World rely on barbaric and undesirable modes of expression against their efforts. They know, for a fact, that in the end the masses will ignore these people: Starting with the polite and censured media.

"Obama" like you... like me... like every human being walking within Societies around the World is only a 'Victim' or product of personal experiences... indoctrination / brainwashing... political and economical guides... wealth and power players... and on. He was created! The problem is 'Who' created him... this 'Who' is also the cancer responsible for the symptoms Obama is infecting the USA and World with.

Take care.
Gregg

BLAME OBAMA!!!

Hi!

I don't think that the intelligent and informed person looks at "Bush" or any other "President" as being "...a Godsend, an angel, the paradigm of political perfection compared to Obama.". The problem is that "Obama" has the hot potato in his hands now... and today... tomorrow... and the days after fro a long ... long ... time depend on what "Obama" does. You might say that he is the leading actor in the spotlight.

George Washington was a 'Freemason' also...

:)

The IDEAL SITUATION would be to VOTE for the INDIVIDUAL who is right for the JOB and do way with the sport's competition surrounding the political teams :) "... HAVE to work together"
