Recession my foot, were heading into a full blow world wide depression. The U.S., France and Germany will be better than the others, but we all will suffer to one degree or another. President Obama is only creating a illusion of a recovery, nothing is really happening, in fact we are getting worse. Take the so called new jobs corporations are creating, manufacturing is still being done outside the U.S.. What really are his positives besides smoke and mirrors.

I hate having to explain this. In the U.S., the unemployment rate has absolutely nothing to do with unemployment benefits. It's calculated by a monthly survey of households, and as such, is more of an indictor of what employment is like for individuals (as opposed to say, the number of hires or firings reported by businesses).

And in the U.S., the rate is down from it's peak. Obama's policies are probably keeping it down by 1-2 percentage points. That is, if it weren't for Obama's policies, it would be 10.1% to 11.1% right now instead of 9.1%.

Except for that 7 straight quarters of U.S. GDP growth, it's a world-wide depression.


I never believed in such alarmism even back in 2008, during the worst of the recession, when the Dow Jones Industrial Average was swinging around like 700 points lost in one day and 500 points gained the next day (and this going on for a few weeks).

Obama is running wild for personal objectives that do not conform with the American Constitution, the Bill of Rights, or the 'American Dream'. And you are wrong, something can be done by those who care enough, and have the courage enough, to get involved in America; instead of just talking about it. There is an expression "Talk is cheap!"... non in the case of aka Obama. Obama is more than an innocent puppet. He is a voluntary, and lethal, cancer to America with high dictatorial ideas and aims. "Pot shots" = no. Uniting effectively to undo his destructive ways and plans = yes. I entered this forum because the "Canadian Content" staff sent an eMail noting that it had been a long while since I participated actively. I entered expecting facts and not pompous fictional outbursts and negative comment strategies. I expected a well rounded discussion on the Forum Title or Header... Logic... Wisdom... and Focus. Instead? An outburst of limited, uninformed, political party-goers that maintain destructive divisions without seeking horizons beyond their own personal, and indoctrinated, barriers. America was not built on this stereotype. It was built upon unity and the courage to seek beyond the known horizons by integrating the knowledge and resources of all those who joined the wagon trains moving Westward. The political manipulation became the personalized 'gold mind' for some afterwards. It is time we hook back-up our wagons in a united way for America's Future and the Future of our Children... and their Children by closing down existing divisions and their egoistic hype to find a path that works with the right people as our guides... without their being tagged with donkeys, elephants, or the like. Intelligence is the only 'Politics' that will regenerate 'True Life' back into America; and on, to the Neighboring World. Intelligence, logic, and wisdom do not identify with shades of political colors. They have a Focus Point! There is only one. It takes pioneer courage to meet at that 'Focus Point'! Nevertheless, it is worth it; and further, it is the 'Point' that works fairly for Each One of Us.

Stop being donkeys and elephants, conservatives and far right or left, extremists of one mind set or another! We are all on the same Universal Ball and it needs our united help to manage life on it... and to save it from political, industrial, and religious destruction. Facts are facts! Reality is reality! We are 'America'! And 'America' is whom we must be together! Stop skimming the surfaces and delve into the sea's tides where you can see the true flow and direction of political, industrial, and religious pollutant divisions within America... and throughout Humanity. What divides us? The color that Mother Nature tinted our skin with? One human brain is structured differently than another? Our physical and anatomical structures are different? Or the like? No! What divided us is: We listened to those who gained in one form or another through divisions within mankind! Our personal financial sufferings and challenges... our religious conflicts... our wars (Be they domestic violence in nature or international in scope!) and deadly conflicts... those who get fat while tens of thousands starve to death (unnecessarily) daily... and so on. Imbalances created by divisions!

Yeah! There are those that cop-out on "One man can't change the World!", or something similar. But it is only a personal cop-out for their own personal inability to overcome their complacency.. fear... and/or comfort in doing nothing or risking being unpopular to thsoe who don't count either.

Something can be done by 'One' human being! For each one of us is One; and, breaking down those barriers which have been constructed to manage us and uniting works! Yes it works for change! The 'One', through accumulation within unity, grows into necessary and effective "Change" in America and around the World. Stop following the voting game of divisions. Demand the right to vote for the DOCUMENTED AND PROVEN RIGHT PERSON and not some political party that keeps America imprisoned like a ping-pong ball being battered from one extreme to the other without ever being able to find Peace in the center of the table... and to Win the 'American Dream'! Stop the 'Mind Game' and have the courage to face up to responsibility's difficult challenge to Unite for Critically Needed Change! The option? Those that don't can continue on pathetically blabbering about their favorite divisions; victims to their leader's propaganda... empty promises... and profits from the American People's hard earned paychecks and earnings.

Am I wrong? No! I know that 'America' could have made better decisions (together and united) based on intelligence, logic, experience, wisdom... than aka Obama or his predecessors have ever made or will ever keep through empty campaign promises. Fact is, under divisional political structures, no one can guaranty what they will, or can, do > if they become 'President' of the USA or any other country. Thus, their only potential to achieve their own personal objectives is creating a 'Dictatorship', just like aka Obama is doing. He demonstrates clearly that he believes in, and has experience with, the Regime mentality. Facts.

I'm Canadian and really don't care about the US and their Manifest Destiny BS. You take this crap way too seriously. America should definitely take care of their own business and stop trying to run the world. Their interference in other people's business is just a diversion because they have no idea how to run their own country. All they know is war.

No inspiration for me. Actually, like all others, he presents his chosen side of the political game. Like I said I do not follow him at all and have no interest in doing so. However, he is prepared with his presentation and that merits credit in this society of 'mouths without substance', which I believe you will agree with me is a rampant disease.

Personally, I don't follow any human individual. I look at what is out there... seek to validate reality from fairy tale... watch the reactions closely of those who are targeted... and use credible statements... documentation... and facts... to come to the best conclusions possible using logic and intelligence with, hopefully, a Creator's Wisdom.

I watch the News: Fox (not so much anymore - the show and publicity stunts turn me off), BBC; CNN; Al Jazeera; World Report; Sky; Bloomberg; CBS; and others around the proverbial Globe. I accumulate the pieces that fit securely into a VALID IMAGE of what is going on... and then, I delve into technologically reliable sources to see if the later holds up under pressure. It doesn't take a genius to realize the REALITY of aka Obama and Company. It takes someone who can break through indoctrinated ideas and egoistical convictions though. Someone who can look beyond rather than hide complacently within "Holy Blind Faith",,, criticizing those who attempt to see the other side of the publicly indoctrinated horizons. Life is infinitely extensive and vastly diverse.

Maybe, just maybe, I am naive in that I expect the same approach from any human being with a biological brain and capacities equal to or greater ... or lessor... than mine. I cal this natural intelligence. An intelligence that works beyond political industrial, and religious programming. In brief, beyond that virtual reality injected by others within mankind. You know, that intelligence that can seek out the weeds hiding within the flower beds strangling the Very Life of the Garden Itself. Unfortunately, this form of natural intelligence is rare now a days. And, those who do not display it have forgotten, or have never, known the actual biological and anatomicla functions of the physically human brain and its projection capabilities into the infamous o' too human 'mind'. Thus, when one goes beyond the 'manufactured mind' back into the databases that have been installed into the brain's production and prop warehouses (used to produce the mind and what it conceives to be) ... to filter out 'brain washing viruses and software' in search of Pure Rationality at human levels: Wow! The criticism... cheap shots... arrogant graphics... start to fly. Sad isn't it that 'each one', with the sincere concern and the courage necessary to break-out of being programmed robots, could not work together to get to the bottom of those issues, which involve America's Security and Future... involve protecting the Constitution and Bill of Rights... the Quality of True Life instead of survival tactics of just living humanly as things get dished out from, and by, those on top of political > industrial / commercial > and religious pyramids. Yes. America has become within its inhabitants a sad case! Especially for those who fought in combat... and know just how precious Life truly is; and yet, have to bear a society's incapacity to use intelligent, wise, logical, investigative processes to defend Life Itself and America... around the World.

Here, in this 'Forum' a question was asked to everyone who came into this forum. They have there individua 'Rights and Freedom' to express their opinion without being assaulted, insulted, or plagued with someone else's ignornat and limited judgement of their answer... opinion... expression. fact! However, if this form, like so many others on the Internet, became a gathering of ideas... opinions... expressions... statements... and the like; and each one involved delved deep into available sources of information on the Internet (valid ok)... the media...newspapares and magazines... Wikileaks... Bradley Mannings of the World... witnesses (Reporter, Police Officer, Fire Department Personnel, and engineers ...Nobel Prize Scientists ... etc. involved with questioning the White Houses's version of the Twin Towers = for example) ... and so on? Wow! We could be a united team for discovering the Ture Foundations upon which we are building America... instead of attempting to do so on flowing quick sands. Oh no! The later would stop some from just opening their jaws and running their mouths in order to flow out small minded and limited opinions based on self-egoistic opinions of the 'whom' they reflect in a piece of shiny glass on their bathroom wall.

Life is Fantastic! We are not living it. We don't even know what it truly is anymore. We just follow the manufactured tides fo a society that is whirling out of control into its own il fated destiny. A destiny creatred by closed-mindedness.. fatigue and despair that creates complacency and the desire to hide away in a TV tube of fictional nonsense... drugs... alcohol...in brief 'irresponsibility'.

Why? Because with division they can maintain control at political, economic, religious, and industrial levels within mankind. They can continue the buy and pay slavery until they take homes away for their eventual gains on resale when they allow the market to surface again! They can guaranty that 'Unity' will never ever again allow for a 'Constitution' and 'Bill of Rights' to interfere with their final objectives.

OK, lets say this whole economic problem is the result of all the presidents before Obama. What exactly has he done to reverse the situation? President Obama has increased the debt, got us involved in another war and has done nothing to get corporations to start using American workers again. (giving big tax breaks to companies who build their products within the U.S. borders for example)
