Every time you open your mouth, you prove how little you know.

Ruhollah Khomeini - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

He died in 1989, he was the inspiration of the religious faction of the Iranian revolution, and the leader (both secular and religious) of that nation until his death. He is revered among fundamentalist Shi'ites......now to his "learned" writings:

"A man can have sexual pleasure from a child as young as a baby. However, he should not penetrate vaginally, but sodomising the child is acceptable. If a man does penetrate and damage the child then, he should be responsible for her subsistence all her life. This girl will not count as one of his four permanent wives and the man will not be eligible to marry the girl’s sister… It is better for a girl to marry at such a time when she would begin menstruation at her husband’s house, rather than her father’s home. Any father marrying his daughter so young will have a permanent place in heaven." ["Tahrirolvasyleh", fourth edition, Qom, Iran, 1990]

"It is not illegal for an adult male to ‘thigh’ or enjoy a young girl who is still in the age of weaning; meaning to place his penis between her thighs, and to kiss her." ["The Little Green Book"]

An Iranian Ayatollah is hardly the highest authority on Islam  Khomeini was a shia muslim and approximately 80 to 90 percent of Muslims are sunni... so it's safe to say he wasn't the spokesperson for all muslims.

Uh-huh.....

Is that the best you can do?

On the one hand the Saudi Arabian legal system of Islamic law supports killing people for adultery and homosexuality. However, on the other hand it is deemed to be Islamic to marry a young child of 8 years of age or 9 years of age, irrespective if the male is 30 years old or 40 years old, or even older.

Saudi Arabia and Why Child Marriage Is Allowed

The Saudis are Sunni.

First, it is amply clear that the classical shari'a among all Sunni schools of thought sanctions marriage at puberty, which is assumed to be age nine for girls. Some schools require the girl's consent, some do not, some allow the father to contract the marriage before nine but then give the girl an opportunity to repudiate the contract before nine (known as khiyar al bulugh, or the option at puberty

So, Colpy, do Muslims in Western Countries also take child brides? Practice polygamy? Do ANY of the things that are being quoted from Iran and Saudi Arabia?

Yep, although western law makes it tough.......

Honour killings, polygamy, and cases of children sent back to the "old country" for FGM are not unheard of.......in fact, the latter practice has been made specifically illegal under Canadian law. The first two never were legal..........not that we do anything about polygamy

I have never heard of a western child marriage....but my guess would be some, somewhere have come to pass.

I have, the FLDS practice it

In November 2008, 12 FLDS men were charged with offenses related to alleged underage marriages conducted during the years since the sect built the YFZ Ranch.[53] As of June 2010, six FLDS members have been convicted of felonies and received sentences ranging from seven to 75 years.[54]

Cultural 'honour' killing brought to Canada

Possible honor killing in Canada: Three Muslim sisters murdered; parents and brother arrested - Jihad Watch

Most of the families who have girls and who have the means and the money and the accessibility or the contact usually does that” one woman reported, “send their girls back to Africa […] and the girls are circumcised, and then they are brought back” (Vissandjee, 2003:120).

Nope! Beliefs and opinions don't determine what is right and wrong. Raping children was just as wrong in Muhammad's time as it is today.

Again, just because the Romans thought is was okay, doesn't make it okay. It was wrong then, just as it is now. Your pedophile-sympathizing moral relativism implies that if society one day in the future deems it's okay to rape children, that these opinions would somehow justify child rape. And that's garbage philosophy!

We know who the brain damaged person is:

You can't comprehend anything, you're like a retarded person.
I'm not justifying anything because I'm not even saying Muhammad raped any child, because he likely didn't.
But you can see with a little bit of studying what was going on in those times and clearly pedophilia wasn't nearly as reviled as it is nowadays.
So your critique about him doing something that was actually acceptable in those days is terribly flawed.

No it's not just "one case", the FLDS actively practice underage marriage.
Oh and honour killings?
Blood atonement

Former FLDS Church member Robert Richter reported to the Phoenix New Times that Warren Jeffs has repeatedly alluded to the 19th-century teaching of "blood atonement" in church sermons. Under the doctrine of blood atonement, certain serious sins, such as murder, can only be atoned for by the sinner's death.[3]

You lose, this isn't about Islam, it's about bringing backward culture to Canada. Try reading what you are linking to.

What exactly are you talking about?

First of all, I "lose" nothing. I wasn't in a competition.

EVERYONE involved in the cases I listed was..........MUSLIM.

THAT is the backward culture we are talking about.

You asked if I had evidence of cases in the west....I did one better, I provided cases in Canada........

from one of your articles

Noting honour killings are not in any way condoned in the Qur'an, Islam's holy book, he suggested the idea is coming up more as a defence for murder by people hoping to take advantage of Canada's cultural sensitivity in order to receive a more lenient sentence.
He also said he suspects mental-health issues are behind most cases.
"We cannot rule out personality disorder among the perpetrators or some sort of psychopathology," he said.

Again....completely ignore that they were prosecuted for this...
And your prophet condoned and encouraged it.

Canada

A 2007 study by Dr. Amin Muhammad and Dr. Sujay Patel of Memorial University, Canada, investigated how the practice of honor killings has been brought to Canada. The report explained that "[w]hen people come and settle in Canada they can bring their traditions and forcefully follow them. In some cultures, people feel some boundaries are never to be crossed, and if someone would violate those practices or go against it, then killing is justified to them." The report noted that "In different cultures, they can get away without being punished—the courts actually sanction them under religious contexts". The report also said that the people who commit these crimes are usually mentally ill, and that the mental health aspect is often ignored by Western observers because of a lack of understanding of the insufficiently developed state of mental healthcare in developing countries in which honor killings are prevalent.
