If they annoy you guys with their cawing you need to move out of the boonies and into city where the pollution keeps their numbers under control.

I really like the crow. He's smart and misunderstood. Didn't you ever hear "Black bird" by the Beatles?

I do live in the city. We need a cull, pure and simple. Of course, they don't want to "upset" anyone, so instead they just waste our time(and tax dollars) shooting firecrackers and other noisemakers. All that does is stir them up for a little while and then go back to the same locations. If they do move, it's just a block or two away and it just makes it someone else's problem.

You want to get rid of sea gulls, put those big ****ing mouse traps used for squirrels out around the garbage. Heck you might even get the neighbours cat lol

The sea gulls are fine. Even when they "visit" the city in the Summer, their numbers are far less than the crows.;)

Canadian Geese are the worse. They hang around the lawns beside my building and other buildings and hiss at you and chase you if you get too close. And by too close I mean walking on the sidewalk. What the hell is going on here? They come into our cities and start bossing us around? Go back to your wetland, silly goose!

Autumn
Warm days, cool nights, no bugs and the opportunity to take shots like this.

Do you live in Slurrey or Ditchmond? If we didn't build our cities in the territory, they wouldn't be crapping on our lawns. Why does the rest of the world have to conform to our desires. Next thing you'll be asking for sanctions on bears for eating apples in your trees. Oh, I forgot, we already kill them for doing that.

Spring is best- you can finally spend time outdoors after being cooped up for four or five months. The garden is always interesting and you get a little exercise tending to it, but more than all that you still have two more seasons to look forward to before dreaded winter is back. We like camping (not really camping) in our 5th wheel and doing a little travelling or at least as much as we can on $1.25 gas. We like the long days and warm nights and drinking our coffee on the patio at 5 A.M. I like the reprieve from onerous heating and light bills and not having to warm up the vehicle and scraping before departing. Anyone who likes winter needs their head looked at.

You took that way too seriously.

Crows shmoes and geese shmeese. As a food producer those crows and ravens kill thousands of disaese spreading and grain eating mice and the occassional rat. Not to mention all the winter dead they eat that won't be entering the water supplies of millions of Canadian households.

Every spring and every fall the geese come by the hundreds of thousands and land in my fields eating all the weed seed and sprouts in spring and in fall. They leave me thousands of kg of free fertilizer.

My favourite season though....harvest. Still summery and just fall enough to be bug free.
