Regina's a toilet bowl! Anything south of Regina is plumbing.

Maybe so to some Canadians. But the graves of my ancestors give the plains of Saskatchewan a place in my heart.

You're the one that called them fat....I just agreed.

Try a sunset/sunrise in Hawaii....magical.

The sun going down between Molokai and Lanai as viewed from Maui sticks in my memory.

If eagle smack is an american then why was he making fun of america.

lol.... I dunno, ask him. He claims to be from the US and served in the military.

Us Canadians make fun of our own country and especially our politicians, so don't think we save it all for the US.

You're allowed to poke fun of your own country and its blunders..... and other country's blunders. That's freedom of expression for ya ;-)

Man, that explains your verbal diarrhea. Try using a thicker lube. :p

I don't need lube, I'm directly plugged into the forum..... all I have to do is think and it types..... including the pauses in my thought process represented by multiple periods.

I know a lot of people who use lower case "i" because they feel the capital version is egotistical.

It might seem egotistical, but it's still proper grammar.

Hi gang, I'm back. Did I miss anything? Like maybe one of my countrymen coming up here to poop in your bathtub? :)

Nah, poop in our bathtubs all you like..... we can always dump it all out and put fresh, clean water back in, because we have all kinds of fresh water unlike you guys ;-)

On a more serious note, Americans generally have a very favorable view of Canadians. That's because they don't know how terribly ambivalent Canadians are about Americans. But I do. I like you folks anyway. But I know you guys and gals because half of my relatives are Canadians.

I know your concerns about Canadian identity.

Our identity is just fine..... tell me, what is our identity? I bet you won't get it right.

I know your fears of domination.

No fears at all.... there's nothing to be afraid of, but it never hurts to ponder about possibilities and prepare for them, no matter how remote...... and considering how many countries you guys invaded so far, it only makes sense.... but we're not afraid. All we'll have to do is pick up, head north and wait for your troops to freeze and die and your equipment to lock up with ice and become useless..... kind of like what happened to the Germans against the Soviets.

Then we'll just come back down and club you all like cute little baby seals...... all helpless and dumb

I know these resentments. There's something you should know about us. We are in the process of exploding on ourselves. And you guys and gals are too close not to be affected.

We already know all this..... you'll be the new Mexicans trying to jump our borders and take the petty jobs like picking ice cubes off the ice trees...... and the real Mexicans will just take over what's left of the US and y'all will just turn into Gypsies.

Edit: I have to add one thing. The British Empire saved Canada in the portion of the Napoleanic Wars called the War of 1812. It was Canada's protector then. A role later filled by the American Empire. I know. We all like to entertain myths.

Ha ha.... you sure do. The British Empire didn't save Canada.... Canada was the British Empire, we were one entity.

And the only reason why the US ever won its wonderful revolution was because of help..... from the French!!!

Oh No!! Those evil french who didn't join into Iraq with you guys and in response you changed your French Fries to Freedom Fries.

OOOoooOoooooooo...... I'm sure that hurt someone's emotions in Paris.

Canadians hate Americans because they're taking America for granted! They're our biggest trading partner, which means we get cool stuff from them, plus we have jobs here because of their demand for certain things. Additionally, look at all great brand name outlets we survive on everyday, not mention the gadgets they've invented.

If Canada were ever to be attacked, contrary to what you might think, you better believe Uncle Sam will up here in a heart beat to defend our ground, air, and water. They are not going to ask for clearance and shouldn't need it! That' a fact Jack, because it's in our and their best interest. Time is critical if your being attacked!!!

Don't forget that America is a free country that has been an example of democracy, free speech, free assembly, free religion. This has allowed people to freely pursue their potential which means those people are contributing something that the rest of us likely benefit from.

And then from a Christian world view, America has done a ton of missionary work, which is crucial. Not to mention billions in foreign aid, and charity raised for people all over the world. Look at the link, they're in first place by far, more than double the second place French. Canada is in 8th!!!

Their flag kicks ass, their anthem kick ass, their other patriotic songs kick ass, and the patriotism of their citizens kick ass.
Their flag is proudly displayed next to the Canadian flag in my home! God Bless North America!!!! :brave:

The Canadian economy is fully integrated with America's. Canadian national defense is completely integrated with America's military.

What are you, High?

You guys already scewed up with the economic crisis you guys created in the world, and now many companies and even our government have been looking elsewhere, like South America (which the US seems to avoid trading with) and Europe..... We trade with China quite a lot these days too..... simply put, you guys are becoming obselete.

And no, our national defence isn't completely intergrated with anything with you guys... besides the border.

Canadian armed forces punch above their weight. But there are only about 60,000 Candians in Canada's splendid armed forces.

That's all we need..... just look at what our small amount of troops have been pulling off in Afghanistan..... taking on areas that even you guys didn't even want to take until you didn't have any choice due to your allies pulling out and having enough BS with your pointless war.

60,000 of our troops is more then enough to handle your uneducated, stim-headed high school drop outs.

You guys can't even take out the Taliban all by yourself, what makes you think you could take on another military force with equal technology and superior training as yourself?

Oh and Eagle, before we get back into another tit for tat quarrel over who could do what..... I'm merely shoving crap back towards this clown just to urk him, nothing more..... tis all in good fun. ;-)

Yes America could become a third world nation, they are in debt to their eyeballs
and like all other great empires, Rome, Greece and others it will collapse from
within.
The cold war was a Sunday School picnic compared to what is coming and America
is going to be too broke to even try to take advantage of the changing world.
Look at what is happening on the stock exchange, The New York exchange could in
fact become the junior partner in a merger with the German Exchange.
True the Canadian Exchanges are talking of merging with the British. This is the
tell tail signs of where we are. North America and Europe are in trouble and facing a
disaster financial disaster without end. To compete with the Asian economies they
have to do something. The transnational corporations and their subsidiaries have
sold us out and the lead for the sellout came from the United States of America.
Some are still talking about the cold war that is the problem with America there is no
time to basque in the glow of bygone days. Forget the cold war, we are sinking and
everyone is watching Entertainment Tonight.

See, that is all a matter of perspective. I see the eminent collapse of the economy as a good thing. We are slaves to the present system of fiat currency. It is failure and needs to collapse. I am glad that Obama and Harper bailed out the criminals who set the economy on a collision course with the iceberg. Their greed knows no bounds and the sooner they self destruct the better. We are resiliant and will rise from the ashes of our own stupidity one day and the Earth will be better for it.

I read a book a few years ago about Canadian concerns regarding identity and incorporation into America. I can't remember the name of the book or the author. The book is boxed up now so I can't get to it readily. But I do remember the cover. It was a depiction of an American flag with fifty stars and one maple leaf.

Abandon pretense with me. I will not pretend with you. So please return the favor. I understand Canadian concerns about identity. I understand that Canada has in large part created an identity based on who Canadians are not, rather than who Canadians are. This is very problematic.

I am fully aware of the closeness of the last plebescite in Quebec. I understand the feeling of remoteness in the Maritimes.

Despite America's divisions, no serious person in America talks about dismembering the component parts of the US. We fought a civil war over the subject. Canada has issues to resolve.

The American military can defeat anyone in conventional or insurgency tactics if it employs the rules used by the Mongols, or by the Han Chinese. If one is prepared to kill everyone, it is a simple matter.

The criminal Obama has employed counter-insurgency tactics in his foolish war in Afghanistan. Even those tactics would ultimately work if he had the ten or so years necessary to devote to them. But he doesn't. People like me will use the war to bring Obama down.

You better hope Americans do not head north. Canada can't stop us without killing us in large numbers. And I don't think Canadians of this generation have the stomach for that. There are too many of us.

Poor America. There's just no hope here. But I know a land of opportunity. It's called Canada. And all we have to do is walk there. We'll bring the Mexicans with us.:) Send not for whom the bell tolls....

Who you going to replace him with, another Republican criminal, a Teabagger loon, Sarah Palin. Sorry, but you got nothin'. The Republicans are in disarray and can't find someone to lead them to the outhouse, let alone the White House. The party is full of twits, perverts and religious fruit loops.

I don't think we have much to worry about. Most would eat each other before they made it this far and the rest would turn into popsicles by January.

Republicans don't matter. I could not possibly care less about them. Actually, there is something more important than America as presently constituted. It's an idea. The ideal of individual liberty has many component parts. It takes a small govt. to permit personal freedom to blossom as much as possible. That's what is important. The Republicans won't help. But disaster and calamity will.

You Canadians have much to fear from mush. We will eat and screw our way north. Haha. Besides, the Mexicans will pave the way north for us. Haha.

Does tequila make good antifreeze? Mexicans come from much more temperate climes than US Americans....

Up here, mush is something to do with doggies and sleds.

The second wave is Ol' man Winter....

I grew up in Minnesota. The winters in Ontario aren't any worse. Besides, Californians will find Vancouver remarkably like San Francisco. Just substitute the Lion's Gate for the Golden Gate.:)

Tequila is very good for you. El Tesoro Anejo. Corazon Anejo. Si.

Canadians are famous for doing things to dogs. Let's not go there considering the recent news. :(
