gopher, replying to your artificial and phony "HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!":

The Democrats WILL lose, because normal Democrats, patriotic Americans and undecided centrists realized that the Emperor - elected by Political Correctness run amok - has NO CLOTHES.

And tell me: If 99% of whites voted for a white Presidential candidate, who opposee a black candidate, would you not call them racists?

And enlighten me: How did Obama get elected if the whites are so racist? Aren't you forgetting that he needed a substantial number of white votes to win?

Are you forgetting - or choose to ignore the fact - that the NAACP has absolutely no idea there are indeed black Republicans, and when they have no choice but ackowledge it, they always demean and denigrate the "house ni66er" who dared to stray from the Democrat plantation. Witness Juan Williams or Micheel Steel or Justice Clerance Thomas.

And would you please tell the world, why the genuine concern of honest regular Americans should be likened to the sickening practice of deviates, who are about 10% of the population but demand 100% power? (BTW, Barney Franks is facing a real and rude awakening).

Also, remember that your ilk called Ronald Reagan a "likeable dunce". Remember what that got you. So, go ahead, spew your venom about the Tea Party in general and about Sarah Palin in particular. You only prove that fools never learn and those who don't learn from the lessons of history are condemned to repeat it.

Are you going to be there on the morning of November 3rd, when I will be offering to you and your fellow liberals/progressives/Democrats, my congratulations?

PS: Other than the fact that they are one term Presidents, the only two differences between Carter and Obama are that while neither would have received a Nobel Peace Prize in a normal world, Jimmy Carter had the decency to wait a few years to get his, doing charitable work in the mean time, while Obama got his even more undesrerved, prematurely, and he would not know the difference between a hammer and a teleprompter.

If the Dems fail to win on Tuesday it is because Obama and his party have again chosen to kiss up to the Repukeblicans. As I have written on this forum before, he can easily end the recession in only one minute if he chooses to confiscate all the TRILLIONS sheltered overseas by the wealthy elite plutocrats who run the country and who caused the economic downturn. Not only would he end the recession that way, he would have enough money to finance the rebuilding of the infrastructure and could also end the income tax. Nobody is stopping Obama from kissing up as he is doing.

If they lose it is because they failed to fix the economy in the four years they held both houses of congress and the two years of holding the executive office.

Make me the president and you will never again pay one cent of Federal income tax in your lifetime.

Now you're sounding like a Tea Partier!

''It's interesting to see that there is a substantial number of President Obama suporters to defend him''

You will recall how adamantly Bush's supporters defended him on this forum up to just a couple of years ago. Remember how it was always,

BLAME CLINTON!

The only person I have seen add that to this forum in many years is you!

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!

We'll see tomorrow night who's laughing.

''If 99% of whites voted for a white Presidential candidate, who opposee a black candidate, would you not call them racists?''

Prior to 1964 when the Civil rights Act was passed, 99% of the white voters voted in that way. I never called them racist.

'' the four years they held both houses of congress and the two years of holding the executive office''

The Republicans held both for a longer period of time, screwed up everything but nobody complained, remember?

'' you're sounding like a Tea Partier''

Perish the thought! Tea Bagging is for those of a different disposition. Hee, hee.

''we'll see tomorrow who's laughing''

Hate to break it to you but I probably get more disputes with Democrats over their compliance with the Pukes than I now get arguments here.

As re to BLAME CLINTON anybody who denies that right wingers ever said that on this forum weren't here a few years ago or they are lying like heck.

I don't remember the "nobody complained" part.

Who said anything about "tea bagging"? Is something on your mind? Trying to repress true natures?

You never were that good at comprehension. As of late... all you can say is BLAME CLINTON repeatedly. That is your answer to everything.

American Politics - You can't fix stupid.

Do you actually think that gaggle you call a Parliament is any better. I can just see the Marijuana and Christian Heritage Party getting together to straighten Canada out. Political parties are ruing our democracies, not the people. Kind of hard to get rid of them once they have established themselves, sort of like cock roaches.

Parliament isn't much better but we don't have the blood lust and complete lack of issues in our elections. Watching American political campaigns is like watching a war from the sidelines. If crap like that is spouted outside a campaign, people get sued for defamation of character and liable and stuff. I have never seen such childish stupidity in my life. Unfortunately, it seems to be creeping into Canadian politics too.

Is it any worse than Canadian politics Cliff? Politicians are a breed of their own and I don't see nationality having much to do with it. Anyway from what I can gather off the morning news Obama is in for a bit of a comeuppance today. Thinking back I believe Y.J. was hinting at the same thing. Wise old sage.

yup...we're better;-)

Sounds very familiar to what is said everyday here. Especially here in Massachusetts. This state is rock solid Democrat. So the state legislature spends the better part of their time feathering their nests, getting their families state jobs, increasing their pensions, taking graft, increasing their pay. Oh and raising taxes to pay for their "entitlements".

Yep, but I think it's inevitable Obama is going to lose a little strength. It's too bad some people can't get it through their heads that you can't fix a situation in five minutes that took decades to develop.

When an empty-suit communist agitator (advertised as "community organizer") can offer nothing more than illusive hope, when this same immature and unprepared boy sweeps into the most powerful office in the world, based on nothing but a wave of political correctness, when he makes promises that every sane person (you know those who did NOT vote for him) know is ludicrous, a comeuppance is inevitable.

JLM, old I am, but I never claimed to be sage or wise. I just calls them as I sees them.

Having said that, let's wait and see the results tonight.

I agree... you can't fix problems in five minutes. However, the Democrats have been in charge of both houses for four years and in charge of the Executive Office for two years and they have failed. They said they could fix it and have only made it worse. They did make it worse. If they focused more on fixing what the GOP messed up they may not be in the mess they are in today... or might be in today.

Back in 2006 the GOP deserved what they got. The GOP deserved to lose the Presidency in 2008. The Dems held all the cards and simply continued to spend on top of ramming unpopular legislation down our throats.

WASHINGTON – A day before the pivotal midterm elections, President Barack Obama pulled back from remarks he made last month when he called on Latinos to punish their "enemies" on Election Day. In an interview Monday with radio host Michael Baisden, Obama said he should have used the word "opponents" instead of enemies.

Well, there's a few things we need to go over here..

1.) The economic collapse was 30 years in the making. Do you really think 2 years is enough time to fix that?
2.) I'm not sure how "they" made it worse. The economy was still in its downward tailspin a year into Obama's presidency and there wasn't much he could do to stop that. The stimulus actually created jobs - you can fact check that if you want - but even that huge amount of money put into create jobs still hasn't been able to completely change things around.

So, really, 2 years? And it's been deliberately made worse? I think anyone who is level-headed about this shouldn't be spouting doom and gloom all things considered.

So you think that using the word 'enemies' means we should vote him out of office? Really? You seriously think that? Meanwhile, some other 'opponents' commit a much higher offence of using the word 'terrorist' to replace muslim. No irony there..

Well, the Republicans are the enemy of Latinos and any other group of poor people. But that is not politically correct. Politically correct for Republicans is to call the President an empty suit, communist Nazi traitor. That is fine but telling the truth is breaking the rules of engagement.

You forgot the most important reason, they divided the country and that is why were having so many problems now trying to fix things.. I do blame Pelosi and Reid and to a lesser degree Obama for that.

30 years? Embellishing a little?

The Democrats have owned both houses for four years now and have done nothing to fix it.

The Democrats said they could fix it... so they were ushered in a landslide. True?

2.) I'm not sure how "they" made it worse.

Me either. But they did. More bailouts, increasing the debt... just a continuation of the policies that got us in the mess to begin with.

The economy was still in its downward tailspin a year into Obama's presidency and there wasn't much he could do to stop that.

Then perhaps he should of ran on that platform.

The stimulus actually created jobs - you can fact check that if you want - but even that huge amount of money put into create jobs still hasn't been able to completely change things around.

That's weird... unemployment has shot up. It was at what 10% last November? It only got better because of stimulus money for census takers. Once they were laid off it shot up a little again. Check those facts out. They've been posted here before.

So, really, 2 years?

Actually four years. This is a Congressional Election and not a Presidential election. Obama still has two years to do what he promised.

And it's undoubtedly worse?

Undoubtedly

I think anyone who is level-headed about this shouldn't be spouting doom and gloom all things considered.

Well I still have hope.
