Touche, but seriously...Have you tried it anytimes?
Ya, actually I have, which is why I know you can actually learn something from exploration.
Unlike yourself.
Give it a try, you might actually learn something.

What do you mean such dry ice is doubtful? There are satellite images of it.

What I mean is clear.
At first they said: No water, only frozen CO2
Then they said: there is water ice in addition to the frozen CO2.
I expect they will later on say: no frozen CO2; only there is frozen water and liquid water.
Who said about the sand storm on Mars?
So there are satllite images which aren't enough to differentiate between dry ice and water ice.
You get a thumbs up for actually posting something true.It seems religion appeals to the simple-minded , looking for simplistic answers to explain the extremely complex universe.
Everyone needs to believe in something, because the idea that it's all meaningless is all to terrifying for some.
Expectations based on what?
Who is they?
I did... It's another reason for the temperature differences between the hemispheres.
Satellites carry spectrometers.
No, the sandstorms are caused by the hot temperature; and it is related to the deserts included in the North hemisphere.
The spectrometer will not say the CO2 is in the atmosphere or on the ground level as the alleged frozen CO2.
Have not read the scientific repllies etc - But it is simple - the North Pole is closer to the sun.Why is the south pole of Earth colder and with more ice than the north pole?
and the same situation on Mars also? :faroah:
When I was in Grade 7 I learned that the warmth of a body is depenedent on the heat a body receives, the heat of the source of the heat, the length of the exposure of that heat, the distance from the heat source and the angle of the recipient from the heat source.
Have not read the scientific repllies etc - But it is simple - the North Pole is closer to the sun.
It's because heat rises, so it's natural that the North Pole, being on top, would be warmer.
The sandstorms move dust around, and it's not equal. It alters the albedo.
South Pole is a huge land mass whereas North Pole is in the middle of an ocean and water has a moderating effect.
Certainly, sandstorms alters the albedo, and cause local lowering in the temperature in that region.
Science doesn't deal in absolutes, that is left to ancient texts written by ignorant folk. Every measurement has uncertainty.Such results are not absolute due to the far distance and limited access to reach exact results.
No, what it indicates is that there is substantial water below the Martian surface which cannot at present be explained, and that the carbon dioxide ice which forms at the poles is transient. The frozen carbon dioxide in the poles is seasonal. This indicates that there is a water-rich layer which may be liquid surface water.

To say I'm surprised by this, would be a monumental understatement.
If the shoe fits... though I don't think it does in your case, you're more thoughtful than that. But it's not always obvious, you're so bloody prickly about any challenge to or criticism of religion it's easy to think you're something you're not.thumbs up...... for calling those that follow a religion, simple minded................
Sandstorms usually lower the temperature in that region; this is known here practically: after the sandstorm the weather will be colder.Or warming.

"The volume fraction of water is generally higher than can be accommodated in the pore space of surface soils, which implies that water vapor diffusion processes alone cannot explain the observations. Alternatives for the formation of the water-rich layer are discussed.
Results of our analysis of the residual-cap CO2 inventory support conclusions that the atmosphere is not buffered by a larger reservoir of surface CO2 at the poles and that Mars' total CO2 inventory is well represented by the present atmospheric mass."
