Quite well thank you. I was at an aboriginal gathering last week and have renewed my faith in humanity in spite of how nuts they all are. The only law that I recognize is the law of nature. Man's laws were all made by retarded adolescents, especially the ones they put in the bible. As Mark Twain said, "and man created god in his own image."I am so glad you have asked me this question . It just happens that Krishnamurti is with Jesus and doing quite well . How are you doing , yo'ld goat ?
I'll pass. I don't want to go through teething again.By the power of the Holy Spirit within us, we are empowered to obey His Word/His law. But you must have His power within you, that is why you need to be born again: John 3:3-7.
I have a few of him in my library then.Jesus Is the New Testament.
I can't miss anything I never had. When you have the Spirit of God within you, you are empowered to obey His Word/His law.
It's quite true that there is no evidence supporting his existence other than a little hearsay, but there's no evidence that he didn't exist either. A lack of evidence is not proof of anything except a lack of evidence.Jesus is a myth
When ever I hear that line I think of Segourney Weaver in Ghost Busters floating in the air saying in a deep raspy voice to Bill Murry, "I want you in my body!" It kinda creeps me out. There is not enough room in my body for me, myself and I.When you have the Spirit of God within you, you are empowered to obey His Word/His law.
Quite true. No-one knows.he very well may have existed but much of what has been perpetrated about him can never be validated. he could have been an old drunk pedophile who died when he fell off a hill after getting too buzzed on moonshine. no one knows for sure.
Too big for yourself? I thought that was Joey's problem. When ever I hear that line I think of Segourney Weaver in Ghost Busters floating in the air saying in a deep raspy voice to Bill Murry, "I want you in my body!" It kinda creeps me out. There is not enough room in my body for me, myself and I.
"You are never alone with schizophrenia" is where I was coming from. There is just not enough room in that madhouse for some other spirit. I have enough trouble keeping track of the ones already in there.Too big for yourself? I thought that was Joey's problem.![]()

I wouldn't bet the farm on that. Absence of evidence is evidence of absence if there should be evidence but isn't. A man in 1st century Palestine saying and doing what Jesus is reported in the New Testament as having said and done would certainly have drawn the attention of contemporary chroniclers, but outside of the New Testament there is no record of him at all, just a few somewhat exasperated references to his troublesome followers a few generations later. The NT itself was written several generations after Jesus' time as well, by people who'd never met him and were probably just recording a by then highly embellished oral tradition. There may well have been a uniquely saintly rabbi who served as the basis of the tradition, but I think we can safely conclude that no person who did what the NT reports Jesus as doing has ever existed.A lack of evidence is not proof of anything except a lack of evidence.
lol I don't think you are "schizophrenic" either."You are never alone with schizophrenia" is where I was coming from. There is just not enough room in that madhouse for some other spirit. I have enough trouble keeping track of the ones already in there.
And pigs will learn to fly one day and horses will grow feathers and the people of Whoville will become giants, Alice will wed the Cheshire Cat, etc., too.Jesus is coming back again:He is no myth. When He comes He will come as the Judge to judge each and every one of us.
I agree that lack of evidence is evidence of absence but what I said was that lack of evidence is not proof.I wouldn't bet the farm on that. Absence of evidence is evidence of absence if there should be evidence but isn't.
It certainly looks that way, but there is no proof of non-existence.A man in 1st century Palestine saying and doing what Jesus is reported in the New Testament as having said and done would certainly have drawn the attention of contemporary chroniclers, but outside of the New Testament there is no record of him at all, just a few somewhat exasperated references to his troublesome followers a few generations later. The NT itself was written several generations after Jesus' time as well, by people who'd never met him and were probably just recording a by then highly embellished oral tradition. There may well have been a uniquely saintly rabbi who served as the basis of the tradition, but I think we can safely conclude that no person who did what the NT reports Jesus as doing has ever existed.
Only if the standards required for proof are unreasonably high. I'd say, and have said several times, that the complete lack of evidence of Jesus' activities outside of documents written several generations after his death (by people who clearly had an agenda other than simple documentation), plus what we now know of how nature works, constitutes proof that the Jesus described in the NT is a fabrication. There are, as Bertrand Russell might have said, no grounds for supposing anything else.I agree that lack of evidence is evidence of absence but what I said was that lack of evidence is not proof.
Right; I don't know ANY. I can't see how any human can know a god. We simply don't have the capacity to know a god. I know OF a few and I even like a few. Some others are just nasty and I want nothing to do with them; your Christian god being one of them. You do not know God.
Meaning that civil government rules also have to be followed, just as God's do.
Clear, plain language which anyone can read and understand.
Scary how much that sounds like addiction....When you have the Spirit of God within you, you are empowered to obey His Word/His law.

It seems to be widespread but not contagious. People actually do the spreading. If they didn't, I think it might likely have died out long ago.Do you think it's contagious?
