So far all we've seen is a series of statements, the veracity of which has not been confirmed (to me)- the bottom line is - Is he capable of doing a good job & he has 21/2 years before he can be judged accordingly. If all the allegations in the film pan out, I think the system is to be faulted, not Obama. Some think he's better than Bush, some think worse, I'm keeping an open mind, but let's give the man every chance. You hear me, Y.J.?

That's just it, Tenpenny- half the comments on the video, just gave me the impression that it was just a detractor grasping at straws for ways to denigrate the guy.:smile:

I remember reading an article on TownHall, which claimed that Obama is a USSR spy. Not the spy of Russia, but a spy of the former USSR. One of the many things he cited as evidence was the fact that his parents studied Russian language.

Watch this video before it is pulled again

This is incredible.

So a birther has posted a video, big deal. You will probably find thousands of videos like this, posted by brither nuts, including two different birth certificates, which 'prove' that Obama was born in Kenya.

This all stems from a visceral hatred of Obama and revulsion at the very thought of having a black man as the president.

Lets see you come up with backup to this statement. Even me a staunch conservative never accused him of that. Never even heard so called "birthers" say it.

News flash:
Obama gets another Nobel prize for looking for a way to promise to study the Gulf of Mexico's oil problem!

I read it on the TownHall web site a few months ago, ironsides. I doubt if I could find it now. However, you may find the following websites instructive. They say pretty much the same thing as the article said, they 'prove' how Obama was groomed by USSR to be a USSR spy. The article pretty much mirrored what these websites say.

Obama and friend are totally to blame for this happening. Something good will happen this November.
Voters to pick Senate challengers for Reid, Boxer

By LIZ SIDOTI, AP National Political Writer Liz Sidoti, Ap National Political Writer

WASHINGTON – With frustrated voters poised to punish the party in power, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Sen. Barbara Boxer will find out their Republican opponents this fall. Fellow Democratic Sen. Blanche Lincoln will learn whether she'll even be on the November ballot.
Their states — Nevada, California and Arkansas — are among 12 holding primaries and runoffs Tuesday, the busiest night thus far of this year's congressional and gubernatorial elections.
Voters are choosing Democratic and Republican nominees for governor in several states like Iowa, where the general election contest was certain to be competitive. GOP primary voters in South Carolina are settling a nasty four-way contest.
The outcomes will determine matchups for November, when Democrats will try to maintain their comfortable majorities in the House and Senate and overcome Republican challenges in dozens of gubernatorial races.
Historically, the party that controls the White House takes a beating in the president's first midterm elections.
Still, neither party is safe from voters' ire.

When Bush was the president, some liberal collected all his gaffes and put them together in the form of a calendar, my son had one. There were 365 misquotes, one for each day of the year (‘nucular’, ‘misunderstimate’ etc.).

No doubt come conservative will do the same with Obama quotes (if he hasn’t already done it).

Actually there were two calendars, giving Mr. Bush a total of 730 "Bushisms." We might see an Obama calendar, but I doubt it as he is much more articulate than Bush. As a matter of fact a number of talk show comedians have complained about the lack of ammunition Obama gives them. Bush was great for comedy as he came across very much like Jed Clampet's brother.

I didn't know there were two. When my son bought the calendar, I was really surprised that they could find 365 misquotes by Bush. But you are saying there were 730? Bush was in the wrong business. He made a lousy president, but he would have made a great comedian.

Spill reveals Obama's lack of executive experience

By: Byron York

In mid-February 2008, fresh from winning a bunch of Super Tuesday primaries, Barack Obama granted an interview to "60 Minutes" correspondent Steve Croft. "When you sit down and you look at [your] resume," Croft said to Obama, "there's no executive experience, and in fact, correct if I'm wrong, the only thing that you've actually run was the Harvard Law Review."

I think it's a little late in the day now to be bringing up this stuff. Don't these guys have to go before some kind of panel before being declared fit for president? Maybe it's time someone drew up a list of criteria, like 1. Has demonstrated ability to balance cheque book 2. Has taken charge of some sort of project. 3. Has demonstrated the ability to procure goods and/or services at acceptable price. 4. Has demonstrated ability to engage in sensible conversation with other dignitaries. etc. etc. ................so the people aren't just ending up with a bumpkin who has just fallen off the vegetable wagon..........:smile:
