Sarah Palin way better than Obama

By Bob Beers Wednesday, February 10, 2010 As as been reported, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs mocked Sarah Palin’s much publicized use of notes written on her hands at the daily White House press briefing yesterday.
Right in the middle of answering a question about whether Republicans were serious about helping Obama pass legislation on jobs and health care, Gibbs suddenly held up one of his hands and showed a list of things scrawled onto the palm. He pointed to a list of things for his son that included an inane breakfast choice, but the secretary said he’d written down some other reminders for himself as well.
“I wrote down ‘hope’ and ‘change’ just in case I forgot that,” Gibbs quipped
This bit of juvenile comedy was in retaliation to Sarah Palin making fun of Obama’s use of Teleprompters during her Tea Party Conference speech. While speaking, footage showed Sarah glancing down occasionally as if checking notes. Apparently not at all worried about revealing where she writes her talking points, at one point in her speech, Mrs. Palin held up her hand-palm out-revealing the words “Energy”, “Tax” and “Lift American Spirits”.
Incredibly thin skin of the Obama Administration

Yet again we are witness to the incredibly thin skin of the Obama Administration. Only one completely out of touch could be unaware of Obama’s total lack of communication skills if left without a word-for-word script in front of him. During the presidential campaign he tripped over his tongue more times than not if asked an unscripted question. It got to the point where I thought, “Uh…bu…uh…bu…” was some sort of code phrase for the slavish media types that followed him.
Of course the mushy-brained progressives and socialists will jump onto Gibbs bit of theatre with glee, pointing at the screen and howling with smug laughter. They will claim that the far more intelligent Gibbs and Obama team have once again proven that they are better able to lead the country to the Promised Land. What they will have done is yet again prove that they are horribly and tragically wrong.
Liberals have no shame, only agendas

Going as far back as the campaigns of Washington, Adams and Jefferson, politicians have spoken using a list of talking points to keep them on track. This is nothing new. Lincoln’s address at Gettysburg was written out entirely and then read by the President during the ceremony. Are we going to see some snide liberal putting on a top hat and mocking Honest Abe? Seriously, if he were here today I would not be surprised to see it happen. Liberals have no shame, only agendas.
A lot of mocking goes on concerning Sarah Palin’s mode of speech. She has a tendency to drop the ‘g’ at the end of some words. Frankly, I would rather listen to that than the backwoods redneck drawl of good ol’ boy Clinton. (Sorry, cheap shot), but, there is a lot more substance in Sarah’s chopped off words than in Obama’s sanitized script. I have to wonder if he used a teleprompter on his wedding day, or was the best man holding up cue cards?
Nobel committee gave him a worthless prize, again for zero accomplishment

As I’ve written before, when it comes to accomplishment, Sarah Palin has no competition where Barack Hussein Obama is concerned. If you really think about it, since his election he has not really done a single thing except put us further into debt. The Nobel committee gave him a worthless prize, again for zero accomplishment. The committee’s own notes reveal the award was for intention, not accomplishment.
Sarah Palin is not running for office, nor is she in office, so why the ongoing attacks from the mushy-brain set? I have to say that it is for her record of accomplishment. The left always attack the successful, and if that success is attributed to help from above…? Hoo boy! I have to wonder why people who have to know they are not going to live forever spend so much time angering the one who will decide where they will spend eternity. That is not a sign of intelligence in anyone’s book.
Sarah Palin is coming to my neck of the woods. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to shake both her and her husband’s hands. Obama is also coming here; to stump for Harry Reid, while Palin will be stumping for Reid’s opponents. Obama’s record is 0-4. Palin’s record is somewhat different, 4-0. Who would you rather have in your corner?

Right...he mopped the floor with the GOP at their retreat. Without a teleprompter, without a script.

In the famous and immortal words of Albert Einstein: "The surest sign of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different result".

The insane Left has been trying to demean, besmirch and denigrate Sarah Palin for well over a year now. Every effort on their part resulted higher popularity and more money for Sarah Palin.

Yet, the idiots who can't see that Obama is the phoniest, least qualified empty suit for the presidency keep on with the same vain, insane attacks. They attack her family, her children, her religion, her looks and her political views. They refer to her as "half-governor", because they think that is witty and clever.

Forgetting all the while that their hero, the Saviour quit his Senate seat after voting gutless "PRESENT" 132 times. Forgetting that the Annointed One never held any office that had to meet a payroll. Trying to make the gullible to believe that "community organizer" is in any way, shape or form gives one higher qualification for the presidency than being a Governor of a State, with 60+% approval rating.

Well, you can't argue with Idiots, who argue that she is a "half-governor", conveniently forgetting that their hero, the Annointed Saviour is half-white, but hides under the umbrella of knowing that any criticism label one as racist.

Jack, maybe you should put some sugar in your coffee. You are as bitter as black coffee with no cream. You are every bit as derogatory and nasty as you accuse liberals of being. Oh, and before you start accusing me of being liberal, I'm not. I am an anarchist. I think anybody who takes politics seriously needs to get a life.

Cliffy and Tonnington:

How about putting some SUBSTANCE in your argument? How about answering what I said? How about proving what I said was wrong? How about being more objective and less personal?

I take politics seriously, because it affects my bread and butter. Only free-loaders on government dole do not take politics seriously. They need not only a life, they need a JOB!

Your political views are you opinions and are a waste of time to refute. There is no amount of evidence that could change your mind. Besides, opinions are what politics is all about. It has no substance, just rhetoric. And if you are still working at your age, you really do need to get a life.

Cliffy, your political views are not waste of time as far as I am concerned. I value everyone's political views and I try my best to answer them the best I can. And contrary to your assertion, I DID change my mind whenever there was a proper and convincing argument that persuaded me to do so.

Until now, I have no such from you. Personal attacks seem to be far more your style.

I retired early, because I could. So, another of your personal attaks goes down the chutes, as usual.

Are you serious? Your rant was completely nonobjective. You made a stink about people badmouthing Palin but did the same to Obama. Saying that you used ad hominems is not personal. But I can get personal if you wish.

I won't argue with what you said. I don't argue with idiots. They drag their opponents down to their level and win every time with their vast experience.

I'm not arguing with what YJ said...do you have a reading comprehension problem or something? In fact I was pointing out his hypocrisy.

Tonnington, I humbly acquiense!

You are clearly the mental superior to anyone, including humble me, who do not agree with you and fall below your WAYYYYY superior intelligence.

However, you and your soul mates still owe me an answer:

Why is Obama superior to Palin?

Is it because Palin needs only a couple notes on her palm to make speech, as opposed to endless teleprompter messages written by people far smarter than the reader therof, that your Savoiur needs?

Is it because being a community organizer is equivalent or being better than being a Governor? With 60+% approval rating?

Is it because being chums with terrorists like Bill Ayers and being alinged with Anti-American clergymen like Jeremiah Wright and Father Phleger is more patriotic than being being friends with Franklin Graham?

Is it because standing up for your country, like Reagan and both Bush's and of course, Sara Palin did is despicable, while apologizing for any any and all imagined wrongs America did, ala Obama is honourable?

Is it because the experience of being a Governor is inferior of being a community organizer? Or of a Senator who never had the guts to vote YES or NO but 139 times a gutless "PRESENT"?

Is it because America needed a catharsis and vote for a (half) black man after slavery has been abolished by REPUBLICAN President Lincoln?

Is it because Democrats would be ashamed to admit that a white CONSERVATIVE woman can and DID accomplish more than a half-black socialist man?

Is it because 95% of blacks voted not for merit but strictly for skin colour? Is it because any person of African-American heritage who dares to vote for the party that freed the slaves, and fought for civil liberties, while Democrats did their best (worst) to enforce segregation is immediately maligned by both white and black liberals as Uncle Tom or worse?

Please, no attacks! Just answers!
