Indeed we do. Trudeau came to power in 1968. Since then in the last 42 years, Conservatives have governed for 12 years, Liberals for 30.
In fact, Dion the last Liberal leader was the first Liberal leader in the history of Canada not to become the Prime Minister.
Seems President Obama may want to get one started here in the U.S. That should make a lot of people happy, especially the poor and those on fixed incomes.

We have GST (Goods and Services Tax) and PST (Provincial Sales Tax), which is totally different from VAT (Value Added Tax).

Yes, we have VAT, and it varies from province to province.
Nationally, there is the GST, but in several provinces, the provincial tax is rolled into the GST, and called the HST (harmonized sales tax). In other provinces, the provincial sales tax is still separate, and applied differently.

3. She is not a lawyer.
4. She went to a common sense college, not to an overrated nest of liberal poison promoting liberal university.
5. She has more than the "NORM" of more than 2.3 children.
6. She had the unmitigated nerve of NOT aborting - but loving - a Down Syndrome baby.
7. She had the unforgivable sin of (at least to liberals) of not encouraging her daughter to have an abortion and the lazy and irresponsible way of wiggling out of an unfortunate mistake.
8. She is happily married.
9. She never went to a Church where the pastor screeched: "God Damn America!"
10. Her palm has more to say than all of Obama's teleprompters, because whatever on on her palm was written by her not some paid lackey.
11. She actually managed all the financial affairs of a state - successfully - while Obama only managed the crooked, criminal ACORN.
12. What she says comes from her own heart, not from a teleprompter.
13. Her son served in the Armed Forces, and we all know that the leftists would like nothing more than following their parents' example of spitting on returning veterans and call them baby killers.

Obama is going thru on the job training right now because he never had any management experience now which should end in 2012 unless the people of the U.S. go crazy and elect him again.
