No - 2X means a double extra large. Men's clothing and even some women's goes from xs (extra small) to over 5X large. My husband is 6'3" and he wears a 2X shirt. One of my sons wears a 2X also and the other wears a 3X. They are big men. I have a niece who wears size zero and my daughter-in-law wears size 2. Sizing these days is weird.
That's for sure. My cup size is either a B or a C depending on who made the bra, I think. lol Same thing with shoes. Size standards in the clothing industry are a joke.

If you aren't then perhaps it's time to consider it.

It's all hogwash right?

History tends to gives us of good indicators of what happens when very large amounts of people have strong beliefs whether right or wrong beliefs.

If you believe it are you ready?

If you don't believe, have you considered the circumstances of political decisions being made by those who do believe?

What is the Rapture?

Who believes it?

Why do they believe it?

What are some people doing to attempt to make it happen?

Are they're beleifs of benefit to the non believers?

I may be an outsider looking in but what I see scares the **** out of me far more than the mythical al Qaeda or Taliban do because these people actually exist and hold high positions within our govts and communities.

Are you ready for the circumstances of someone in power who is disappointed it isn't happening fast enough?

Are you Rapture Ready - Rapture resource for the end times ?

I'm ready to accept the end game the religious freaks of this planet plan for humanity. Hmmmm?. Do they care about non religious people. I think not! Love and peace my ass. The rapture will come from within. Thanks for nothing Chritians and Muslims.

Don’t be too sure that your are ready for the end game, do you know what their end game is? According to religious right prophecy, we are gong to have world war and 1/3rd of the population of the world (2 billion) will perish in the war (none of the Fundamentalist Christians will perish, of course).

Incidentally, I can very well see some of the mentally challenged religious right followers trying to give the Almighty a hand and start the Armageddon.

I once wrote that the second coming would be a process, not an event. When a Christian friend saw that he went completely nuts and hasn't talked to me since (almost 30 years). To me it is the process of evolution, a consciousness awakening to our higher potential. We have been living in the dark ages of religious and political oppression and we are in the process of shaking free from those shackles.

yes, just more progress as you say, to leave the religious
behind, while the more
visionary and intelligent beings move forward, not much
different than how we are compared to those simple minded
nomads from long ago, who feared everything and thought
that gods and devils caused all of the 'natural' events
in the world to happen, and it was only 'weather'.

They have gradually disappeared, and we emerged, knowing,
and not fearing.
Even in my life time I have seen the religious reduce in
numbers, and the more enlightened, intelligent, realistic
sorts come forth and see more clearly, and not have their
minds clouded by guilt trips and obligations to the church.

The Moral Majority joined forces to elect Ronny Raygun because they believed he would "bring it on!" Georgy Dubbya said "Bring it on!" and that his war on terror was a Crusade. Fundamentalists on both sides are itching to "bring on" Armageddon. They have been fairly successful in BSing a lot of people to support their (un)Holy Wars.

It is unfortunate that most of us will not live long enough to see the day when the sane outnumber the nut cases.

"bring it on." is not something that be covered by Law #2. lol, has somebody pointed that out to them ?

Their version of it, anybody with a Bible can read about how God would do it. It is just grand enough that it cannot be faked. Don't forget God's first lesson to us is there are liars out there. This generation thinks Eve was quite naive and gullible and I admit she was targeted by Satan because she was taught Law by Adam not by God.
Don't give all the credit to them, you first have to have a people willing to be lazy. Two ways to get knowledge about God, read the Bible yourself or hear about it from somebody else. Both options have pro's and con's. Reading for yourself still means you have to 'run it past other Christians' for it to be accepted, or at least compared to their version and listening to their version, without double checking the actual reference you can be off the 'path' by about the 2nd verse you hear.

You can keep your skepticism, that isn't going to stop some people from claiming that they are fulfilling Scripture. The very best 1st question you ask is 'Where is somebody who has risen from the dead as an immortal human?" If God is involved you will find many that fit that requirement, if nobody presents themselves then you know God is not involved. You don't need a 2nd question unless you are just looking around for answers the Bible gives for questions that arise from reading the Bible.

MHz If I go cruising through the gates and I see a guy doing women work do I call the V.A.T. hotline or do you think they have the 'time and hour" clinched long ago when the Papal wet dream of longitude became reality?

It is unfortunate that most of us will not live long enough to see the day when the sane outnumber the nut cases.

One thing I can guarantee, when that day arrives, we all
will respect each other much more, will be more flexible,
as it is religion that separates most of us, and the
rigid rules of each one, which cause people to fear a
life of freedom, and live a life of obedience, and never
really know themselves.

Peace will be more apparant all across the world, the
masses will be more interested in caring for the earth
and each other, and will see far and wide with clear eyes,
and an open mind.

I have seen that progress in my family, and my daughters
and their children. Such thoughtful people, who don't
want to hurt others, see their world as 'good', and see
the religions as 'rigid' and full of judgement and rules,
and fear and suspicions.

I have seen the same changes. I remember when peace marches were a few hundred hippies and college students and grew to thousands in Vancouver attended by doctors, lawyers and other professional people. I have seen the number of rigid religious followers dwindle and people move away from the churches. I think there is hope for humans yet.

maybe we can leave this earth feeling that hope, much better
than our forefathers, who were so obedient to the church.

The Churches weren't following the text very closely anyway. The "Church" is wherever two or three are gathered in His name.
Now it is upto you to make the world a saner place, may I suggest you start with the whole middle-east.

I can't even handle the insanity in my own back yard.

And I don't know of anybody who requires a capital H in "his". In a truly free and democratic country there should be no need for lords.

The "Church"...................
aka Circe...

Who was Circe?

Circe, daughter of the sun, was a sorceress best known for her ability to turn men into animals with her magic wand.
Well I'll be!. Little miss Churchie has the power to turn men into pigs.

Now THAT I can believe about the church and religion.

Do you ever put a capital in 'Dad' ?
I just write it the way I see it already written.
Are you even here and breathing and thinking? In a democratic country You (feel better now, lol) vote who will be Your lord. It sometimes ends up being a Monarchy when the same 'relatives' hold those positions for longer than 8 years or so. Democracy has left the building when the ones running for 'lords' is Calamity Jane and her cousin Festus.
In a true democracy if the majority of the voting people do not like you you are out of a job. The way elections are run these days is more than what is needed, by a long shot.

What would happen in Canada if the PM passed away and the one that took over ran in and won the next election. Is that considered 1 term or 2?

I agree with you with the preface "All things being equal"...

But, at this moment in time, all things are not equal, so we need a transition period, say, seven years, and a whole lot of cooperation to turn what we have into a properly functioning democracy....We are not perfect, but we have a head start.

MHz by capitalizing you, you've placed Cliffy into a higher personification and made yourself a subservient and it's even legally binding.

Don't worry I won't call you Cliffy's minion but if it is what you willingly choose then so be it.

Very litle differs between law and a book of magic spells. It's all words putting you into situations that can be heavenly or it can be hellish but it's all done with freely and willingly.

I hope he doesn't hold you up to it in court.
