I read recently that it is supposed that Jews had already long established communities down every trade route, including via sea, and that rather than any imposed diaspora there was an abandonment of Jews by Jews after the economic infrastructure was destroyed by the Romans arround 70 AD. So the Holy Land was abandoned by the Sanhedren, the poor Jews had to stay, the upper crust left them to their own devices. I will get you the authors name when my rolodex starts working again.

So much for proof of ownership. So then. NO! Israel has no right to exist.

"Rome beats us up and we left for better money and less sand" is no excuse to kick out the inhabitants of a legally formed nation.

I LOVE these guys!!!!

One incoherent pothead claims he might have read something somewhere about something, or refers to some text written by an idiot who spends his evenings imagining the joy of eviserating Christ-killers.......and the others all shout out together:

"The conclusive evidence is in! Israel is a monster! Down with Israel!"

You can almost hear the sub-text between the shouts......

"kill the jews, Kill the Jews"

It is actually hilarious........

Oh, or else they want you to spend the rest of your life exploring primary documents in ancient history to prove some obscure point, because they're either too lazy or too stupid to read an actual book.....and any hard evidence produced they would simply pooh-pooh anyway.....

All the time claiming to be sweet, innocent, fresh from the Bath.....wonderously clean and untouch by the foul finger of bias!

Monty Pythonesque, that's what it is!!!!

Which legally formed nation are you referring to?

The book was and may still be a best seller in Israel Colpy, as I recall it was written by a well respected Israeli historian. "They hate us because we killed christ". That was always a limp biscuit, only an unbeliever could imagine that christ might be killed in the first place. As for hard evidence of ancient Israel, save a few pot chards and some petrified dung, there is none. I suspect that you exercise a narrowly defined set of criteria in the selection of your own reading material. This incoherent pothead will never loose faith in the eventual correction of your odious social malady. Zionist psychophant, what a pathetic calling in life. You are to be pitied.

This is the history they teach in Israel at Tel Aviv University:

Prof. Shlomo Sand, author of "Matai ve'ech humtza
ha'am hayehudi?" ("When and How the Jewish People Was Invented?"; Resling, in Hebrew)

but he MUST BE an anti-Semite?

Good article in Haaretz - Shattering a 'national mythology' - Haaretz - Israel News

"The people did not spread, but the Jewish religion spread. Judaism was a converting religion. Contrary to popular opinion, in early Judaism there was a great thirst to convert others. The Hasmoneans were the first to begin to produce large numbers of Jews through mass conversion, under the influence of Hellenism. The conversions between the Hasmonean Revolt and Bar Kochba's rebellion are what prepared the ground for the subsequent, wide-spread dissemination of Christianity. After the victory of Christianity in the fourth century, the momentum of conversion was stopped in the Christian world, and there was a steep drop in the number of Jews. Presumably many of the Jews who appeared around the Mediterranean became Christians. But then Judaism started to permeate other regions - pagan regions, for example, such as Yemen and North Africa. Had Judaism not continued to advance at that stage and had it not continued to convert people in the pagan world, we would have remained a completely marginal religion, if we survived at all."

That's the guy I had in mind Petros, but I can't swear he's the author of the words I paraphrased. I believe it's a damn good read though and I do intend to order it someday soon. There has never been a greater interest in Jewish history then at this very time in history. Perhaps that is the reason for the desperation for control of the message that we witness. It brings to mind a squeaking wheel that loves to squeak and abhors grease.

Are you trying to say there was no Palestine prior to the Zionist invasion?
PetrosSome maps and info on how the various states in the Middle east came about. So before you call Israel illegal you should have done some checking first.

Something like the chicken and the egg - As they like to say - Plaestine the twice Promised Land

There is also a very curious association of Jews and the formation of the Roman church to consider in the study of the thing called the judayo-christian heritage. The religiously inclined don't mind long term plans at all.

]It says Palestine to me. It even says Turkey and Austrai which are still Austria and Turkey today just like Canada is still Canada after after the collapse of the English empire.

You've only confirmed my point. A far far var bigger Palestine by the way.

What I confirmed was how the Brits and the French decided who would rule what state - what borders would be in place and as we clearly see how they changed -
Trans jordan to Jordan is one example I thought you would see that -

Are you stating unequivocally that Israel never existed as a State - ????
I'm thinking that Israel is a state of mind - a dream held for almost 2000 years by a homeless people. Since the Bible is a work of fiction, nothing in it can be taken as historical fact.
