I miss the hopefilled days of the last decade when I laboured under the cheap commercial delusion that my province would soner or later reap major economic benefits from global warming. My government assured me that sub tropical Nova Scotia was just arround the corner. I have made serious investments in the great global catastrophy. Somebody owes me money and the debt seems unrealizable with carbon credits. I intend to sue.

You can fool some of the people some of the time, as Abraham Lincoln observed, and you even can fool all the people some of the time. But you can't fool all the people all the time. Al Gore and his friends got so excited about points one and especially point two that they forgot point three.

As long as there are folks like you Walter who are swayed by the rhetoric of Op-eds, then the zealots denying observable fact will have their echo chamber to bounce more noise around.

Interesting that I just heard on the CBC that this year's winter weather is the warmest for over a hundred years. I suspect the Olympic organizers would be interested in hearing "theories" opposing global warming.
