The Quran as a whole speaks about worshipping God alone without associate.
All the Quran is the devotion to God alone.
How this is:
God commands people in the Quran to do the prayers; but all the prayers should be devoted to God alone.
God also commanded to give the alms; but the alms should be given for the sake of God alone.
And so on every rite and act of worship should be to God alone without associate.

A very solid piece of advice from an omnipotent source. We can't have it both ways and that,s all there is to it. God has mislead me on numerous occasions, and I had doubts, but with the passage of time and trial I was invariably enlightened, of his mysterious ways, joyfully. They have no argument not dealt with in the good book.

And what makes your god any less false? If you had any idea how and why the bible came into existance,you would be questioning the validity of the Jewish/Christian god too.

But you didn't actually answer his question.
All that we know about our Gods is what has been written by mankind. It is what mankind has interpreted- thought of, decided. Do i believe? I believe there is something - it's what my gut tells me. Is it what has been written in the Bible, the Torah or the Koran - or any other religious book? I don't know. I've read them and my gut tells me that there is an element of truth in all of them.
I came from a good family that taught me the basics of Christianity and Judaism. I grew up and read that those basics are present in many other religions. Some of them have more than one god or goddess. Are any of those deities better than another? Not really. All religions seem to fail somewhat on an equal level when it comes to what is written as opposed to what is practiced. I've seen good devote Christians, Muslims, Jews, Pantheists or Atheists, and I've seen bad from each group as well. Bottom line is, you can put a name on the belief, but the behaviour? It's entirely up to the human.
