Lots of speculation on this subject. Do we actually know beyong any shadow of a reasonable doubt that any torture took place.
So of course, you automatically assume that none took place (because Conservatives are in power?), and that there is no need to look into it. At least that is the impression I get.
Maybe us guys who are safe at home should just be minding our own business and let the troops contend with it in the manner that best ensure their safety.
This was done by the government, it has nothing to do with the troops, Indeed, this is the standard tactics of conservatives both here and in USA. Any time anybody criticizes them about anything to do with war, they immediately claim that their opponents do not support the troops.
This is a variant of the same old Bush philosophy, if you are not with us, you are against us. Harper is a well known Disciple of Bush.
Terrorists and insurgents don't get sympathy from me. Once they are captured if they come out of it alive they are ahead of the game.
I see, so investigating if Conservatives were involved in some prisoners being tortured is equivalent to sympathizing with terrorists. As I said before, you claim that you are not a conservative, and I take your word for it. But at least in this instance, you are arguing like the most committed of Harper acolytes.
