If I was getting a dog it would likely be a Border Collie. We travel a fair amount in our old age and the dog would have to be boarded somewhere.
The daughter of a friend of ours housesits. Surely you could find someone like that. :)

Can you get a silencer for a twelve gauge?;-)
I suppose but I think it'd be like putting a bale of hay over a cannon. "Silencer" is a misnomer. Guns still make noise.Propane cannons would work. Try renting one for a week or so.

I pray humanity is exterminated in the very near future. We're a generally an immoral, arrogant, clumsy, greedy race and we've overstayed our welcome. I for one take extreme pleasure in vivid reveries of mass extermination of the human race.

Feel free to go first.

Opinion is opinion. I'm glad you know that. :)

But if you can't tell me what about it you specifically disagree with, and just that "opinion is opinion" I can't help but wonder if you read it all.

It isn't a secret that evolution takes time. We have a half billion years more to evolve before we have to find a new planet (assuming we don't kill ourselves off before then).

You bring up twice now the notion that humans could kill themselves off as result of intolerance/ignorance. So like myself you recognize the big flaws humans acquire, which begs the question what are you arguing with me about?

I can't take that chance and miss the opportunity to witness the great hysteria and cries of humankind as they realize they end is coming:laughing9::laughing9::laughing9::angryfire::angryfire::angryfire:. Maybe from a comet or imminent nuclear war, oooh the circumstances are endless!

You know part of our problem stems from reading the absolute drivel you write. Get yourself an "End of the World" sign and walk up and down Main street. Maybe somebody will grab your sign and beat some sense into you. We can only hope...

Oh yea, that will give me new profound faith in humankind. I just asked you earlier what I should be optimistic about our race for and you couldn't even answer that. You seem to be completely ignorant in our own disintegration. I would expect this kind of obliviousness from Americans who sit in front of their T.V enjoying ridiculously mindless reality shows. I'd hope us Canadians are a little more cognizant of societies follies.

All of what? Your post? Obviously I read it all because I quoted the entire thing and replied to all of it.

wow Apparently you don't understand what I said. I said that I don't think humans should die off as you seem to think we should. Obviously, if we were finished evolving, we'd die off as other critters that couldn't evolve did. But we are still plugging along. That's the nature of nature.

lol Must be cool to go through life hating people and thinking in terms of "what ifs" and "maybes" all the time.

lmao only a human could go through life looking for its own doom. Good thing this sort isn't prevalent.

Nope. I don't see where you get "troll" from, I am 100% serious.

Calling me a moron for realizing the utter failures of humanity, well that's just moronic in itself. More irony from you.

Now tell me more about the sanity and peaceful utopia of Israel.

Easy, Vlad; you're liable to fall and impale yourself on that chip. If you want to start another fukkIsrael thread, do so, and quit taking this one off the rails.

I've got to argue a bit with that Cliffy.....I like the wild places.....but nature is very adaptable........

150 years ago there were no deer in NB. No coyotes. the wolves were on the decline........Now there are almost 100,000 deer, abundant coyotes, wolves and cougars are making a come-back.....all because of the deer....which can live in this area because....they feed very nicely on the young growth that springs up from logging.....nature adapts.

There are more white-tail in North America now than at any other time......

Well there was no white man in NB 500 years ago and apparantly they are not adaptable at all if you are any example. I say get rid of the white man (if you are an example) and let nature take over...

I'm talking about the George Carlin excerpt.

You don't know what evolve means clearly. Us humans aren't even out of the damn jungle. Our DNA has had no substantial changes in over a hundred thousand years. Here's an excellent quote

We're still operating out of the lower brain. The reptilian brain. Fight or flight. Kill or be killed. We like to think we've evolved and advanced because we can build a computer, fly an airplane, travel underwater, we can write a sonnet, paint a painting, compose an opera. But you know something? We're barely out of the jungle on this planet. Barely out of the ****ing jungle. What we are, is semi-civilized beasts, with baseball caps and automatic weapons.

What the hell is "cool". This isn't a word I like and have become to hate it really. Now I can't help these feelings I have for humanity and more people would feel the same and they were even remotely aware of what's going on around us. If you want to know how bad and repulsive we as humans can get, take a look at our Corporations.

It's quite irritating not to be able to point out Israel's blatant crimes against humanity without being labeled an anti-semite or anti-israeli. You must hate humanity as much as me if you want to ignore the crimes of Israel's murderous regime and pretend as if nothing is going on.

And this topic was already taken "off the rails" as the subject of the morality of hunting came up.

Just a quick refresher here....this Thread...it's about a Woman in N.B. that
was attacked by a couple of Coyotes. If anyone wishes to start another
Thread on a different subject, they sure can...but this one is about a
Woman in N.B. that was attacked by a couple of Coyotes.

After Taylor Mitchell's death I'm more fearful of the ignorant attitude we'll have against coyotes and begin killing off another species into extinction, rather than a similar incident happening again. From what I gather it's quite a rare occurrence.

Exactly, so getting back to where we were before Jwhatsit sidetracked the thread with her stated wish for the end of our species .......

Actually, it's not. It's supposed to be about a woman in NOVA SCOTIA who was attacked and killed by a couple of coyotes.
