Why is Country Music so Dispised In Ontario?

I don't like Country music, One of the things I don't like is some guy from Lethbridge putting on a phony Alabama accent and wailing into a microphone about his pickup truck or his dog or whatever.

I didn't mind John Denver but he was mainly pop music.

There have been some good artists in country music but prefer Nana Mouskouri..

Everybody has their own taste in Music.....I love Country, both old and new. Nana Mouskouri sounds like someone is strangling a barn cat to me.

My condolences. As a huge music fan, I can only say that it must suck to have no musical tastes. Do you also like no name beer?
You would know more about no-name beer than me....enjoy your day.....I'll post a Roy Acuff song to help you through the day....:lol:

I'd never heard of her until now, but I looked her up on youtube. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume the tinny speakers on my laptop are the issue.

*karrie ducks as juan whips a cd at her head*

I am quite sure that there would be more answers to your conundrum, johnnnny, if you were not so dismissive about other genres of music. While I am not a fan of Country, Hip-Hop, or Rap music, I will at least acknowledge that there are people that do and not dismiss them all as "haters".;-)

Music is cyclical anyhow. A genre will be popular for a while, then it will wane, and then it will come back again. They always do.

I personally don't love any genre. Any one kind of music constantly will drive me insane. I need a broad mix. Give me some Iz, some Snoop Dogg, some Johnny Cash, some Owl City, some Katie Melua.... keep it moving, keep it changing.

lol... I'm sure shadow.

I'm actually serious, Karrie.

Believe it or not a couple of his songs on the CD(well, he narrates more than sings) are quite hilarious. If you can, listen to the song Has Been.
