Most posts/op-eds/blogs I read from the "left" are not afraid of Palin. They laugh at her. They think if she runs she'll be destroyed.

In case you hadn't noticed, she quit the office of governor of Alaska.

She did? I thought she only transferred authority. I really doesn't matter much either way. It would appear you feel lame duck politicians are the preferred option. Very interesting indeed.

Poll: Majority Of Voters Say Sarah Palin Is Not Fit To Be President

Poll: Majority Of Voters Say Sarah Palin Is Not Fit To Be President | TPMDC

A new national survey from Public Policy Polling (D) finds that the American public has a pretty solid verdict on Sarah Palin: A full majority, 55% of voters, say she is not fit to be president, compared to just 37% who say she is fit for it. In addition, respondents were asked whether Palin's announcement that she will resign as Governor of Alaska makes them more or less likely to support her for president. Only 30% say more likely, with 57% saying less likely, and 14% not sure.
Oddly enough, though, her personal favorable ratings might have gone up slightly, to 46% favorable and 45% unfavorable, compared to a 43%-49% rating last month.
From the pollster's analysis: "It's not surprising Palin's overall favorability numbers haven't declined since most folks inclined to dislike her already did before she announced she was resigning as Governor," said Dean Debnam, President of Public Policy Polling. "But even among people with a positive opinion of her this move seems to have raised some questions about her
judgment such that a majority of Americans don't think she's fit to be President."

''I thought she only transferred authority.''

She quit. Very unusual in politics. Her choice of course but a cop out. It is said there are too many scandals that she is running from.

Still time to see what she really intends to do in 2012. All this speculation going on will not and is not telling us anything.

Actually I don't know if she stepped down, she wasn't pushed down though. Perhaps she just fell through the step and is waiting for THAT call. Hey, now, Gerald Ford stumbled once. lol !!

God bless her and keep her safe, for trying but she needs to study up some. Perhaps she will take summer classes in Political Science or at least World Geography, maybe on-line from Phoenix University, that would broaden her Pretty Face journalism degree.

Please, please don't send her as middle east envoy! Can you see her as Secretary of Sate?

WoooMyLord! HeyheyMyLord!:fish:

If that's the spin that makes you happy, keep on truckin.

No spin at all. The left was very thorough in destroying here. She is no longer viable. The idea of her getting a GOP nomination for the next presidential election is farfetched. Unless Obama is doing a great job and the economy is rebounding. If Obama looks unbeatable she might get the nod like Bob Dole did to run against Clinton in his second presidential election. Dole was just a sacrificial lamb.

Of course they laughed. They did a great job in ruining her and humiliating her. That is the way they do it.

Now we have a president that bumbles through every speech unless he has a teleprompter and the press adores him.

i disagree with you on Palin EagleSmack. I believe that she'd have a strong showing in a presidential election.

Consider for one moment how the electorate (in almost every nation) actually vote. Often, it has little to do with their experience and abilities, but more to do with the physical representation, presence and ability to speak well.

Give Palin a more effective persona and schooling in the relevant issues such that she doesn't stumble and she'd go much farther than anyone would expect.

No disrespect but I think she'd need a lot of fine tuning (and maybe some coarse tuning too)

She had that appeal and it scared the liberals.

Look, they elected a clown like Al Franken to the Senate. Bet next someday someone will nominated him for President. His credentials are failed comedian, failed Air America talk show host and far left smear merchant. This should serve as a lesson to all who vote straight party line without looking to see who is on the ballot.. You deserve what you get. Compared to most candidates out there, Sarah Palin does not look so bad, (politically speaking) betcha.
