It is admitted fact that galloway has given monatary support to said terrorist organisation..... Canada has not allowed him in for that fact,......Now....if you can't come up with a time that Canada let someone in that we knew was a terrorist supporter ( under Canadian law) then we are being consitant. Galloway was refused entry because a high government official approved (at a minimum) or dictated. The court today will decide if the denial decision meets the letter of the law. Incidentally, the $45K to Hamas does seem to violate the letter of the law to me.

Nobody is preventing the idiot saying whatever he pleases.

Nobody is shutting down his website.

Nobody is censoring his TV interviews. Nobody is preventing him appearing via weblink.

We just want to make a statement: support for Hamas is illegal in this country, we don't allow people in that financially support them.

Technically Galloway gave the money to the legal Palestinian government, which is controlled by Hamas.

Would giving money to revenue Canada be the same as giving money to the Conservative party who controls how funds received by revenue Canada is spent?

I looked up the Jewish Defense League's website and I agree with some/most of their objectives. I agree with everything they say about defending Jews from anti-Semticism and hatred. But I disagree with their belief that anti-Israel is the same as anti-Jewish. They are also a front for pro-Israel propaganda.

You are missing the point.

The Contras are not listed as a terror organization in Canada, therefore we don't give a rat's ass who gave them money.

Hamas IS listed as a terror organization in Canada, and Galloway gave them cash, therefore there is good reason to keep him out.


Not that we need ANY reason, he is not a Canadian.....if we want to keep him out because he is ostentatiously unattractive, that is a perfectly good reason Or because he is a Scotsman. Or because he has blue eyes. Or because we just don't like what he says.
