It's good that we can find a light side to this but on the heavy side, we need a good organizer to start the ball rolling in regards to action that will be felt in Ottawa in the range of 10 on the Richter scale. If a non English speaking immigrant isn't safe here how safe are the rest of us? Not to mention all the tax money we are forking over to support this B.S.

You know what is really really scary? Is that we have LOTS of people who don't speak english LIVING here, and we have LOTS of people who's english is really bad. Those officers live here, they know that. But they wereunwilling to give some time to a disgruntled man who earlier had been calmed down by a civilian. Those officers should be fully trained in dealing with people who don't speak english or speak very little.



We have the olympics coming in less then a year...This is worrisome.

We are talking about 4 members of the RCMP here. This "little joke" of his is not about four members. It's about the RCMP period. He has the right to condemn that which has been my families lifestyle for the past 40 years but it's okay for him right? He has been referred to as a troll both on here and on canada.com but you go ahead and congratulate him.

Not sure on this but with such a variety of posters could be a lawyer in the bunch –As the Crown stated previously no charges were to be laid – they also stated they could revisit that decision –
In the US a civil suit could be initiated for Unlawful Death or words to that effect. Is that possible in Canada?

I believe so, but extremely rare and possibly precluded by a criminal case. I.E. If it's a criminal prosecution with an outcome, a civil suit can't be brought

We have "inquiries" that use taxpayer money to pay restitution to the victims or their families. I'd prefer to see those at fault foot the bill and pay dearly.

Hey good day to all, it is law in Canada when a person is drunk and kills another person with a car, it automatically becomes a criminal offence. Why does the force allow a person with a criminal record be a peace broker (a cop), this guy should be thrown out of the force immediately, if the force wants to maintain integrity with the public. And to be fair to the public all 4 should be thrown out because they have been caught red handed deliberately lying in an EFFORT to cover up their misconduct.
