It's time for them to clean house. This loyalty to the brotherhood mentality regardless of what has been done or gone down and it gets covered has to end. It is making it dangerous for the average cop to be out on the streets. While this happens in all jobs and professions it is known to be especially rampant in this one.
They need to weed out their losers and turf them. It's difficult to do due to unions but none the less honesty has to prevail, they have to be written up and fired.
Covering for these losers will get good men killed.
Choosing right over loyalty should not be viewed as wrong.
