That's weird. I thought there already was a Gilligan's Island movie. It was with the original cast of the sitcom, basically the TV show being transformed into a feature film.

It's more like one long episode of the Gilligan's Island show than a movie though.

I think there were 2 or 3.

As someone who rarely watches movies the only one on the list I saw was Howard the Duck.
yes it was not the best I agree. The last time on saw a movie in a theatre was 0.11 from a
few years back. I have seen movie trailers and they such so the movie can't be much either.
I have seen a few on TV but they remind me why I don't watch movies.

Oh the one I hated was the Beatles thing what was it something about 8 days a week or whatever.

It's still TV.

Its also still a movie.

What it is not affected by where you see it. A movie you see in the theatre is still a movie when it is played on a network on TV. Some movies never make it to theatrical release either, they go straight to DVD. Are they not movies because they never made it to a theatre?

Nothing can possibly be as bad ... oops, I mean, entertaining as Edward Wood's Plan 9 From Outer Space:

I was watching this gem on an online TV channel and the chatters were all having a good laugh about it. Then, somewhere along the line we compared Vampira:

compared to Elvira:

We had a vote as to who was sexier and more desirable. Vampira won by a unanimous vote.

As for other bad movies I've seen, these include:

Robot Monster

Zombies From the Stratosphere

Attack of the 50 Foot Woman

Eraser Head

Rocky Horror Picture Show

Harold & Maude

I watched Eegah (1962), one of the movies on the list, today. There's one part where three characters are walking in a desert and a disembodied voice yells "Watch out for snakes!" I thought it hilarious, so I looked it up. Sure enough, other people think it's funny too. The phrase "Watch out from snakes!" has been used in comedy, such as the U.S. production of The Office.

I actually enjoyed Waterworld. I think if the hype for it hadn't gone into overdrive(due to the success of Dances With Wolves) it may have fared better. Also, if someone other than Kevin Costner(again, due to his starring in Dances With Wolves rather than his acting ability)had starred in it may have done better in the box office.
Never saw it because it was Kevin Costner. Not a fan, although I have to admit I saw Mr. Brooks a few years back and it was actually pretty good. Very creepy.

I thought The Devil's Advocate was great.

"I'm a FAAAAAAN of man Kevin!"
The Devil's Advocate was awesome. Pacino, as per usual, was amazing.

Oh the one I hated was the Beatles thing what was it something about 8 days a week or whatever.

A Hard Day's Night? I love that movie, it's so cheeky, how can you hate it?

Rocky Horror Picture Show

Rocky Horror is so bad that it's good. It's supreme cheese, which makes it super fun!

I saw four of the movies on the list. "Howard the Duck", "Highlander II", "Battlefield Earth" and "Catwoman". As others said, Highlander II was a disappointment after the original. Howard the Duck was... what was it, really? And Battlefield Earth, this gospel of scientology tale was far too long and just all round lacking. None of them were worth seeing at the theatre, IMO, but there was some entertainment value in at least "Catwoman".

I noticed people are mentioning things line "The Blair Witch Project" and "Rocky Horror Picture Show" and I think this shows how subjective this topic can be. I loved Rocky Horror: its a complete satire. Tim Curry was amazing as Dr. Fankenfurter, to me. "Blair Witch" is one I did see on the big screen and I thought it was totally worth it: it wasn't big budget and didn't have the slasher or gratuitous nudity that other horror flicks have. It just kept you guessing... not bad for an extremely low budget job by some unknown kids.

Best and worst is always totally subjective. Heck, sometimes it just depends on your mood when you watch it. I can remember laughing hysterically watching There's Something About Mary and those are not typically the kind of gags and jokes that would normally make me laugh. Conversely, I remember watching Napolean Dynamite with a group of people, all various ages, and they were all laughing but I didn't even laugh once. It just didn't strike me as funny.

As far as Blair Witch goes, I thought it exceedingly over hyped and over rated. I thought it was boring. I get what they were trying to do and I actually think it's a good idea, leave more to the imagination as opposed to slash and gore, but it just didn't do it for me. On the hand I though Paranormal Activity did a pretty good job at setting that tone. Director's cut ending being the best one, although the theatrical release ending works for the sequel.

Some of the old movies from the 40s, 50s and 60s I can remember watching when I was a kid, especially the old monster movies they used to show on television. Watching them as a adult they are not so entertaining but I still have a somewhat nostalgic love for some them.

I thought one of the most over-hyped movies in the last decade, if not all time, was last year's "Paranormal Activity". THAT was a snoozefest. I still can't believe my step-son bought the DVD...guess it just shows how much work we need to do on guiding his spending habbits... :p

"Highlander II", ".

Ugh... this was bad too. It was pretty much ignored in the subsequent Highlander movies. Forgotten like a bad dream.

The Devil's Advocate was awesome. Pacino, as per usual, was amazing.

Pacino's performance at the end was awesome.

Reeves: "So who are you? Lucifer? Satan?"

Pacino: (smiles) "Call me dad"

At the time, I liked Howard the Duck. Can't say if I still would. Worst movies I have seen would be Romantic Comedies. Most suck.

Ever since the Godfather I've found Pacino to be somewhat of an over-actor. Not quite Shatner calibre, but hey.

I'M IN THE DAWK HERE!

Ever since that courtroom performance at the end of "...And Justice For All" they have worked in those over-acting dialouges in many of his movies. I think they are great.
