Why would anyone trust the Liberals, the NDP or the Bloc?

I'm not bring that up.. You have.

The fact still remains, the opposition forwarded a coalition plan and coincidentally, the electorate ripped 2 of those parties a new a$$hole at the first opportunity.

None of this denies the need for proportional representation.

... But it sure makes a case for the violent anal rape by multiple parties analogy that we were discussing.

Did my analogy about the current system, offend you because your party of choice is the current majority?

They must be paying you high dollar to astroturf this forum.

I wonder what the wage gap was back in 1867?

Did my analogy about your party of choice offend you?

Not in the least... But it does appear that you are pretty uncomfortable with the nature in which society spanked your beloved parties.

They must be paying you high dollar to astroturf this forum.

We talked about it, but it would widen the wage gap and that would lead to a massive influx of prisoners in private jails.

There are a few statistics you can throw around..

wage gap
inflation rate
unemployment rate

All of them play their part, but none of them are as pervasive as wealth distribution in their correlation to social ramifications.

Conservatives are nuts - there's no doubt about that.

But I supported proportional representation before this last election, so your argument is lost.

Why would allow the "not conservative " crowd govern Canada? The not-Hitler crowd is much bigger, and if would force ndp, liberal and conservative be be part of the solution.

Excellent points... Why, I understand that the Soviet Union was entirely crime-free for all those years under Stalin... The gulags were just a terrible misunderstanding.

Apparently you're dumb enough to make the assumption that my critique on inequality of wealth distribution means that I support a completely equal redistribution of wealth.

Sorry, but I can't help you with your embarrassing leap in logic there little fellar.

Critical thinking takes time to develop.

Give it time MF, maybe some day you'll achieve the critical thought that you crave so dearly. In fact, maybe some day you'll eventually move into the realm where you can actually debate with a substantive response and not have to exclusively rely on deflection and insults each time that you are schooled.

Oh, please do explain!

Ya see, since you make a massive leap of intellectual faith in lecturing Yukon Jack on the increased incidence of criminal activity being linked to wage gaps, I simply assumed that you weren't lying and believed that there was a relationship.

I never said there was a direct causal link, only that it appears the most pervasive out of all economic explanations.

I don't disagree with you although I would not support that it is the most pervasive link.

I will suggest that the economic health of a society has a bigger ramification, especially when that economy was previously healthy and robust and observed more money filtering through the system among a larger population.

That said (and assuming that there is some merit in the aforementioned), the next issues revolve around the architecture of creating that systemic opportunity.

...and this isn't insulting?

...my point being practice as you preach.
Starting to see the link?

What kind of response did you really expect? And for the record, you wouldn't have taken that as an insult unless you already knew the answer. So it seems that you were not adverse to throwing gas on a fire and now you don't like the consequence.
