Exactly what I thought. If you continue to read my post, you will notice that I don't think that Catholics or atheists are saying a huge percentage of the world is delusional. There isn't any point in arguing with you, petros or gerryh if you don't bother reading and understanding.
Oh, "we" understand perfectly. The vast majority of atheists that I have come in contact with think EXACTLY that. That those of faith are OBVIOSLY delusional. The atheists on this board, including dexter, have stated exactly that.
Putting each other under the microscope and passing judgment in a generalizing way exists in some atheist's, as well as many theists. In reality we all judge each other to one degree or another regardless of what camp we're in. I guess my thought would be, if you believe in what someone said , judge not, that you be not judged, why would you not follow that advise if you followed the teacher. My daughter is not a theist and you will rarely hear her condemning or judging others. She follows certain teachings, more than most religious folks I've known. Comes natural to her. She cares about the feelings of others. She sure didn't learn it from her dad because I've been a judgmental prick most of my life.
No I have not, it's just that your mind doesn't grasp the subtleties of what I've actually argued. It's called The Problem of Evil--you can look that up--and no religion has produced a satisfactory explanation of it since an ancient Greek first framed the basic question.

I think the so-called Problem of Evil is mental masturbation, and the same kind of bullsh*t semantic nit-picking practiced so often (but not nearly so well) on this board every day.
Without a knowledge of the law of large numbers I said say "wow, what coincidence the problem of evil keeps popping up from atheists".

My logic? I have faith, not logic. It is you and your ilk that do not believe in a supernatural being. The 16% Catholics don't think the rest of 86% is delusional, that's your mantra.
It's not hyperbolic, atheists/agnostics always refer to supernatural entities as myth, legend lacking evidence believed by crazies, maybe not you, but certainly the majority of atheists believe we are delusional.
