Why does Trudeau dawdle when benefits of Cannabis control go to the evil side?

Never liked the stuff myself. I didn't like how I felt or being out of control . Same with booze. I'd cross that line of intoxication and be a loose cannon. No self control.

You gave up because you were to lazy to practice.

I made my fair share of bad choices that's for damn sure. probably why my health isn't good these days. Just wasn't impressed with weed

I was instantly in love with the stuff and we've been married for over fourty-five years. I had arthritis very early in my teens the cannibis made the pain go away and I could work and move arround without squeeking and groaning. It will be the last habit I give up.

WikiLeaks emails expose alcohol industry’s paid campaign to stifle pot legalization

When the good people at Marijuana.com went through the WikiLeaks dump of the DNC emails, they found something unrelated to the trove of damning information on the criminal Hillary Clinton. Within the mountains of email texts, was a paid segment by the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA), stoking fear within Washington, encouraging politicians to be wary of marijuana legalization.

'It has no medical use': US government will NOT loosen marijuana laws after lengthy review

Marijuana has been ruled one of the most dangerous drugs with no medical use.
The decision marks the end of a lengthy government review, which found the drug 'has a high potential for abuse' and 'no accepted medical use'.
The weed will remain a Schedule 1 drug alongside heroin, despite growing support for legalization, the Drug Enforcement Administration announced on Thursday.

Medical marijuana production to create 40 jobs in Kapuskasing

By Sarah Moore
Sunday, July 24, 2016 8:02:04 EDT PM

With the legalization of marijuana on the horizon, the town of Kapuskasing is looking to cash in a burgeoning market by opening a new medical marijuana plant.
Mayor Al Spacek said they submitted an application 18 months ago and are now waiting to receive approval from Health Canada.
Once that happens, they can begin construction on a new facility that will be located at the Kapuskasing Airport.
“We put in an application in January 2015, almost 18 months ago, and we're told it takes 18 to 24 months to process these applications. We're hopeful that we'll get notification very soon,” he said.

The United States hates natural herbal remedys and durable clothing. That country has to go to hell.

Yet Canada has ignored it's major reports for over 60 years that came down on the side of legalization.

Seems we are no better in this injustice than the Americans are.

Worse perhaps as we think we are better than they are.

Marijuana turns perfectly normal drunkards into lazy gluttons. Padlock yer ice box before inviting your stoner friends (byoP) FOR PIZZA.

Can't stand em they always forget how much food they gobbled up

Well that is certainly true. They started the damn war on drugs nuttery though.

Did they?

What about our making opium illegal and going against the wishes of our police just because our Asian population was into it?

We were just as racist then as the U.S. was when they made pot illegal.

Curses on the alcohol and tobacco lobbies that control our legislation with bribes to our politicians.

I had heard that the Canabis research on rats failed its audit. Something about the researchers consuming more than the rats. You might think this is funny but it establishes a scientific conflict of interest which leads to critics demanding that the raw data has been compromised.

In a private meeting yesterday in downtown Toronto, the Honourable Anne McLellan, Chair of the government’s Task Force on Cannabis Legalization and Regulation, spoke with various stakeholders in legalization to provide updates on the process and timeline.

McLellan, who is also a Senior Advisor at Bennett Jones LLP, an international law firm based in Canada, spoke at the Bennett Jones office in downtown Toronto, along with Hugo Alves, a Senior Partner at BJ. Bennett Jones also represents numerous businesses operating in Canada’s medical cannabis space.

Mclellan told attendees to expect legislation earlier than later, and that the government wants legalization in place “no later than six months before the next election”.

Key points from the meeting are below.

I see that as an anecdotal lie. You should not pass it on.

I have heard a lot of B.S. but trust the main research papers that have been written by experts and our own LeDain Royal Commission since 1900.

Especially the LeDain report as it is considered the bible of drug research by the drug addiction services community.

Thanks for this.

The sooner the better.

If Trudeau is smart, he will also legalize all drugs and bring them under medical supervision as suggested by our own LeDain Royal Commission so that we can put a stop to all the deaths that we have had to suffer lately by the drugs and drug pushers who do not care who they kill.

FMPOV, every death from this moment on is a direct result of government inaction and incompetence.

LeDain recommended intelligent use of freedom of choice and Trudeau is not acting intelligently.
