Northern Ontario,
Last night, wife comes home from visiting a friend, and after a while of watching TV, she's rummaging among the cushions on the sofa, the drawers on the end tables...
I finally ask....What are you looking for?.......my phone she says...
When did you use it last?.......when I called my friend before going over...
I take my phone and call her #.....but can't hear any ringing in the house....but that doesn't mean anything, because with her phone she has a few times inadvertently switched her ringer "off".
Before she starts panicking, since my laptop is in front of me, I decide to check in the router and look in the list of Mac Addresses connected to the wifi, since by trying to make it ring I probably woke it up.
(I keep a list of all the mac addresses of all electronics in the house that connect to wifi for security)
And yes I see the phone is within wifi range and tell the wife to quit panicking..lol
But that covers a lot of ground to search....
I next ask her for her Bluetooth ear piece that she uses to listen to music and answer the phone when we walk....that was easy to find. and the range to connect to the phone is only 15 ft..... and a bit less if there is a wall between the phone and the earpiece...
After a few time of switching it on and off, while going around the house, I finally hear the little voice in the ear piece say "power on followed by phone one connected"
The phone is finally found in a nearby closet in a handbag she was planning to use when visiting her friend but changed her mind at the last minute.......

Which brings me the original question...

Why does a woman need so many handbags??????:lol:

Don't get me started on shoes now........
shoes are more important...there are more categories with shoes...including the other two there are other qualifiers....goes like this

  • colour and heel height
  • colour and toe style
  • colour, toe style, and heel height
  • comfort according to length of time shoes are to be worn
  • comfort, colour and heel height
  • comfort, and toe style
  • what is everyone else wearing
  • how much can I carry with me
  • do they match the purse/bag
  • how much does the purse have to hold
take those and keep mixing them up...I am NOT a shoe person and I have over 50 pairs currently

Backwater, Ontario.
My wife is not a shoe person, but she is an ear-ring person.
Quite a collection.
A bit OCD on the earrings.
Gotta love her.

8OI get to fix them when the little thingy slips out of the do dad and needs to be bent slightly to repair it.
Have invested in tiny pliars and screwdrivers, and crazy glue.
Now if I could just fix my freakin eyes.:-(

If you ever figure out how women think you will be rich and famous.

There should always be little mystery to every person. Marlyn Manson, weirdly enough, explained the importance of mystery

"Don't ever empty the bucket of mystery. Never let people define what you do. It's not about zigging when you should zag. It's not about doing something unprecedented and unpredictable. It's just about never being a word, or something that is not in the process of transformation."

But if you insist on wanting to figure out the mystery:
let me know if you want to purchase this book, I'll hook you up

And that is just the first chapter!!!!

50 pairs? That does sound excessive 'till I start figuring out the number
of pairs I have. Adds up real quick.

- light weight steel toed winter boots
- -100C composite toed winter boots
- steel toed dress shoes (every man needs a pair of these)
- 2 pairs (usually 3) of summer weight steel toed boots (to switch them out)
- 2 or 3 pairs of rubber boots
- a pair or two of runners
- 2 or 3 pairs of sandles
