Last night, wife comes home from visiting a friend, and after a while of watching TV, she's rummaging among the cushions on the sofa, the drawers on the end tables...
I finally ask....What are you looking for?.......my phone she says...
When did you use it last?.......when I called my friend before going over...
I take my phone and call her #.....but can't hear any ringing in the house....but that doesn't mean anything, because with her phone she has a few times inadvertently switched her ringer "off".
Before she starts panicking, since my laptop is in front of me, I decide to check in the router and look in the list of Mac Addresses connected to the wifi, since by trying to make it ring I probably woke it up.
(I keep a list of all the mac addresses of all electronics in the house that connect to wifi for security)
And yes I see the phone is within wifi range and tell the wife to quit panicking..lol
But that covers a lot of ground to search....
I next ask her for her Bluetooth ear piece that she uses to listen to music and answer the phone when we walk....that was easy to find. and the range to connect to the phone is only 15 ft..... and a bit less if there is a wall between the phone and the earpiece...
After a few time of switching it on and off, while going around the house, I finally hear the little voice in the ear piece say "power on followed by phone one connected"
The phone is finally found in a nearby closet in a handbag she was planning to use when visiting her friend but changed her mind at the last minute.......
Which brings me the original question...
Why does a woman need so many handbags??????:lol:
