All food consists of chemicals, I was being a smart ass. Lettuce is a collection of chemical bonds, as are carrots, beef, chicken, etc.
Ohhh no they are not. As much as I like oranges and hate muscle cramps I can't and won't let that slip by.citric acid and lactic acid are harmless.

That's a heap of malarky. You don't get any where near the productivity or as much glutens in the grains. Check into what it takes to be certified organic and compare yields between packed cereals and the organic way.
Never heard of lactic acidosis?
Did you have lots of cramping and the sh!ts a lot when young?Too much of ANYTHING isn't good for you. My mother always thought if a quart of milk a day was good, two quarts were twice as good.

That's malarky. There is more than enough food for all. IF you can afford it.The reason Egypt cannot produce grain like they used to is when President Nassar built the Aswan Dam their once fertile Nile flood plain just reverted to desert. As for so many other countries in worse shape, I think I answered that question before: "Give them suitcases so they can pack up and move" to more fertile areas.

Many of the posts above say that the third world countries are fully responsible for creating starvation within their borders. Others argue that Wall Street has some role in this unhappy matter:
The Food Bubble: How Wall Street Starved Millions and Got Away With It
By the way, did anyone answer the question about why the focus here on Egypt when so many other countries are in far worse shape?
Africa could feed the entire world without cutting down a tree but mineral/resource wars get in the way all the time not money.Food is always available for those who have money, and the poor used to be able to get minimal and today with no jobs, they get nothing. As I said, time for Africans to migrate to where they can produce food. The boundaries created by European nations just never worked for their cultures.
