Debates heating up ,adding to greenhouse gases!
American banks and investment giant now prepare to control the global arena , along with advertising and the unaware slavedrones!.....Capitalism is not the way of the future! Well we are taking care of Iraq but you are just to proud or stubborn to admit it. We are turning over the Anbar province to the Iraqi's. The surge worked much to your chagrin and the awakening is working. We could take care of Afganistan on our own and would have if nobody came. We are appreciative for all who helped considering the US and other nations were prepared to spill our blood by the tens of thousands if war broke out with the Soviet Union in Europe.
You don't have the numbers we do. Your navy is tiny and made up of frigates and a handfull of subs and misc ships. You don't have the armor. Your airforce is also small. Your equipment is not equivalent and you don't have a lot of it.

I'm still waffling on this election. I'm tempted to do the exact same thing I did last election and cast my ballot for the Greens. Of all the things that I think our country needs to do right now, green innovation is IT. We need to find a way to draw in alternative energy industries, and be the leaders in that area. We need to find ways to become mass exporters of petro and electricity. We should be self sufficient and profiting hand over fist on our natural resources. A vote for the Greens, while it won't affect any real change, seems to help get that message across to the parties who do make it in.
One of the biggest problem in Canada is we are alway looking for saviours...we want leaders to lead us. We want to be led. There lies our problem... If we as a people had a clear sense of ourselves we would have a couple clear choices to vote for, instead of our "sit back and ponder" approach to everything. We should not be definded by what we are not..
We are not Canadian's because we are not Americans.. We need to know who we are, what we want then find the leaders that believe in what we are looking for..not the other way around!

The thing I believe that is being hidden has to do with the lack of training and experience the average troop seems to have these days. While I'm sure you might have gotten some pretty impressive training when you went through the military, many of todays troops, it seems, tend to rely too much on their technology to give them the answers.... like which green glowing head in the night vision is the bad guy and which one is the good guy...... or did they target the right village or hut and kill the terrorist, or an entire family sitting down to eat?

Answer: Since WWI, Canadians have been known around the world for dealing with a load of BS thrown our way, and we still get the job done, regardless of our available numbers. Hell, the Germans considdered us "Shock Troops" ~ Not to mention Billy Bishop.
By the end of WWII, although our population was small by many standards, we were the second largest producers of material for the allies (Next to the US of course) surpassing what Germany, Italy and Japan could produce combined. We had the largest airforce training program in history, which many of your own forces were trained at back then. We had the 4th largest navy fleet in the world after the war (3rd largest in the allied forces).
Quite simply, numbers mean squat..... and although we don't have the amount of force we once had, We have not forgotten our past and the sacrafices they have all made to make our country what it is today..... and many would take up arms to defend it again if we needed to, regardless of who we are facing on the other side.
Our militay's history was never built apon glory, power or for control of something through greed.... it's been built apon principles..... mock it if you wish, makes no difference to me. We've been mocked before and expectations of our capabilities have been proven flase in the past.... it will be proven again in the future if need be.
Not to mention, that regardless of our population ratio compared to your own, we're still tied to the arse to the UK and other commonwealth nations...... they would have to defend us before they defended you..... and vice versa. So although attacking Canada (In a hypothetical situation) may seem simple and easy to you..... that was the same mentality back in 1812..... the thing you forget, is that our forces, when needed, are bolstered by other nations such as the UK, Australia, India, Pakistan (Oh wait, they've been booted out, headed by Canada) ..... 53 nations in total -1.

I was a former (so called ) Gang member ,,Really though I was a Death metal vocalist (for 10 yrs! Music always had a good moral message though,lol) Was invited to all the wild parties..Had lots of friends ..Someone of coarse always crossed the line..We would all get the blame,,,More so me because I was always there.Fans and friends hangn out,,We were pretty scarry lookin I can imagine.....Then at a party one night ,,,I saw the light.!....The light was green;-)!...Layed starring up at the stars...There was a meteor shower along with the northern lights....It was awesome ...changed my life...When my friends found me laying on my back in the field ,they asked what I was doing....I pointed....We all stared at the lights in awe!...When I went to get up I noticed bugs and other little critters crawling all over me....Ohhh..oeuuuwwwweee,,,Gave me the shivers,,,,I That night changed my life,, I now Have a fasination with all that is science,,(mostly theoretical sciences/Unified theories/Space sciences) ..and a wildlife/ecology diploma!......I saw the light that night. Youth Crime...What should we do about these rebelious punk kids!?
I know , Let's collect all them young 14 15 yr old, Gang Banger,rebelious, punk kids off the street before they hit high school.Throw them in jail till they get good grades and graduate,,,,After that they can choose to stay in jail or go to college/university ,,,Or
We can find them a job ...subsidize them some housing until they get on their feet ....and Bang!(sorry bad choice of words) ,,I mean ,,,and
Bingo!..They become productive members of society!(only half jokin!)....
There are gangs in Jail/prison .It is not as much of a deterent as it is a training ground for gang leaders!
I think it is time for political leaders to visit some of these troubled areas...Ask some questions ...Truly find out what the REAL problems are down in the hood !....
Kids gather in groups to protect themselves from fear and insecurity, as well as to have a good time with friends! Better than being alone,,,,Where do they go ?...What can they do?...Who can they talk to?...Seems everyone is afraid of "THE TEENAGE GANG!',,,
There are troubled/trouble students...Teachers see it everyday...Parents seem to ignore it, or don't know how to "get through" to their kids..Kids won't listen...Some Politicians (won't name names)say "Put m all in jail!" We all loose...Sometimes more than we could ever have imagined!.I've seen a lot of horrible things..Will never shakem...! Another bright future lost due to fear , ignorance and lack of action!!.
What will leaders do to address Canada's high crime areas ?.................How do we give the discouraged ones a brighter future?
I was a former (so called ) Gang member ,,Really though I was a Death metal vocalist (for 10 yrs! Music always had a good moral message though,lol) Was invited to all the wild parties..Had lots of friends ..Someone of coarse always crossed the line..We would all get the blame,,,More so me because I was always there.Fans and friends hangn out,,We were pretty scarry lookin I can imagine.....Then at a party one night ,,,I saw the light.!....The light was green;-)!...Layed starring up at the stars...There was a meteor shower along with the northern lights....It was awesome ...changed my life...When my friends found me laying on my back in the field ,they asked what I was doing....I pointed....We all stared at the lights in awe!...When I went to get up I noticed bugs and other little critters crawling all over me....Ohhh..oeuuuwwwweee,,,Gave me the shivers,,,,I That night changed my life,, I now Have a fasination with all that is science,,(mostly theoretical sciences/Unified theories/Space sciences) ..and a wildlife/ecology diploma!......I saw the light that night. The false face of politics
I don't know....Is it just me or do the conservatives seem to say one thing but really mean another...Seem like the kinda people that have something positive to say about someone or something one minute than as soon as you turn your back they burn you!...I call this a false face....These kinda people can't be trusted.
We need honest leaders who mean what they say ..!...Is that possible in politics?.....Mr.Harper how many times will you have to apologize for your parties actions..I would expect so much from gang bullies ....but from our leaders?...What does this say about Canada?...Lead by example...

Ok... I want you to say something positive about all the people your party has insulted....Makes me wonder what is really said and done behind closed doors???
The only thing worse than dis'n people behind their backs. Is doing it in a double fork tounge in front of their faces!...Tisk ..tisk...Ok we're all maybe a little guilty of slip ups once in a while.....and granted some people can be a little too sensitive ...So , I am sorry Mr.Harper for being so negative about you..I am sure it is no suprise to you though..Probably expected so much eh?.Ok Ok...Let me say something positive about you ..hmmmm,,,,,,At least you didn't try to make any excuses and you do dress well lol.....So I forgive you..but I am only one ,,,,,, It's the people who need your trust...

By car/Bus and Train
Hey!....Hope anyone reading this had a good weekend!......My son and I went on an adventure saturday..Didn't quite make it to Niagra Falls!....Took the train for 1/2 hr. then the bus for another....The customer service was great on the train .The attendant gave my son an activity package that kept him occupied through out the trip ..I enjoyed the train along with the scenery...Only down side....4X the price of taking my car!.....
........The bus system was definetly a little more stressed...The bus station was selling tickets outside because apparently they lost the lease inside the builidng...Lucky for them , technology saved them...In the form of a hand held interact machine...Unlucky for us , cause I only had cash!...They didn't except cash .... said they were afraid someone would steal it.!.....The attendant was kind enough to allow us to board the bus. As long as we promised, we would buy and give the bus driver two tickets, when we arrived to the next station...He followed us in....All in all, it was a good trip ..My son had a good time..He Fell a sleep on the way home...Cost 2x the ammount of gas to get home in the bus..
...........Cost if we would have drove..$10.00......Cost for taking train and bus $60.00! ......It is still far more affordable to take the car than train or bus...So sorry...I would advise car pooling over the other options.... Although guy's , there were a lot of single college/university ladies on the bus!...I guess the only ones that can afford it eh...lol!?!.....
