Wait until they find out it was Martin who ramped up oil production, development and created energy corridors for pipelines to the US and west coast.

I see them as all the same, it just depends upon what or who can benefit me the best at the time...in the long run, it doesn't matter much....I don't worship any of them and until we change our system the only thing that will change is the level of corruption within all parties depending upon the depth of their sophistication at hiding corruption

What makes you feel there is rampant corruption?
the way our system is set up where party loyalty is more important than ethics or morals or the individual

and that fact that only recently is it emerging because our ability to track money is much more sophisticated and it simply can't be hidden because the average person is much more sophisticated

Duffy is not the first... he is merely one of the first to be uncovered

if you examine any system including small business, human greed and the belief that screwing the system is not only smart but is to be expected and even lauded is the norm

"better in my pocket than yours"

our system is archiac but for now it's all we have

Canada's Employment Insurance should be there to help the unemployed, and that's all there is to it. The idea that the current government takes your EI premiums to facilitate their reelection campaign with the illusion of a balanced budget while denying Employment Insurance to a stark majority of the unemployed is simply flat out outrageous.

Use Of EI Funds By Tories To Help Balance Budget Draws Criticism

Nice try Lefty, but I disagreed with it when it was the Liberals doing it, and now I disagree with it when the conservatives are doing it.

Considering that it is likely that EVERY government will continue this practice in the future, I will not count this against the conservatives.

Didn't Martino have something to do with dipping into the what was then the Unemployment Insurance Fund?

Good on him for the oil thingy.

PeeAir kind of ****ed that a tad, previously to Martino.

Politicians of all stripes are mostly crooks and thieves; rule with smoke and mirrors, and the gun when
necessary.

And this has what to do with EI? You add nothing but contempt for others who have an opposing view to your own. Sometimes that is all you do.Your entire existence on these forums consists of your looking down on others, Mr. high ground.

It was the anti-harperites that first used to EI to "balance" the budget. Now isn't that correct, cliffy?

Includes both you and me doesn't it?
sure maybe, I don't know. Half the time your posts are so cryptic it's hard to guess the meaning. I don't live in your head nor are we of the same mind set on almost any issue, so unless you state your meaning it's a grey zone completely open to interpretation.

A definition of a word following a question you asked of me was vague in the extreme...I have ceased to wonder what people on here mean. Unless their post is clear I just go with the flow and often times skip right over it.
