So? That means he can't voice his opinion?

Never stated that- In his position he is to be impartial. Not one sided as is the case. But that is just my opinion.
He serves at the pleasure of the UNHRC which has demonstrated over the years to have a fixation on Israel. In some years the UNHRC had a higher number of reports critical of Israel than any other country.

I would kind of expect that anyone whose job on the UN is to look after Palestine, might be.

And what does Boston have to do with Palestine?

Everybody hates Israel, that means there's hope for the world and none for Israel. I wonder if the fixation on Israel isn't because of it's constant news hogging. Israel this Israel that day in day out year after bleeding year decade into decade they've been wondering arround in everyones head for forty years.

Maybe we can civilize the Muslims the same way we civilized the Native Americans?

That is disgusting as a post, an opinion or a belief.
And I give you the benefit of the doubt and take it as a sarcastic, but historically correct post on the treatment of First Nations in NA.

It was just a suggestion.....
No need to get rude.

Native Americans did not need civilizing...some tribes were culturally superior...Muslim extremists can not be civilized, Mohammed wouldn't like it.

We demonize the Muslim the same way we demonized the Natives. And we had folks just like DaS telling us they could not be civilized.

Don't try to even say this is different.
This is exactly the same story playing out the same way, over and over and over

no Angstrom it isn't ...what are extremists defending...nothing, they seek to kill the innocent purely on twisted religious grounds... not that Christians haven't been there and done their fair share of butchering as well...difference is, the world has moved on, this is a whole new reign of terror. Extremists do not need to be civilized, they need to be wiped out. Ask any moderate Muslim, once the extremists are done with us, they will turn to their own and butcher those who do not fit with their belief system...there is no half way...they are only just beginning.

The same exact way the natives would ambush, attack and slaughter French and English colonists..

This could not be "more" perfectly the same situation that played out not so long ago with our Native American friends.

This is history repeating itself. Don't try to deny that.

The French and English even bought and used the Native Americans as Merc. Men for hire. Just like we hired Muslims to fight our great Russian enemy.

It's so much the same situation repeating itself it makes me mad. But heck.

If we need to kill the Muslim, then so be it. I'll just ask that we be honest about it
And admit to what we are planing to do, and that is

Exactly what we planed & did with the Native Americans.

Can you defend your position?
Yes I know the UN HRC has to fire him as he works for them. The Secretary General cannot, but funding can dry up fast.

That's the best way to send the message.... Cut-off the funding and see how long the UN exists when those nations that continually piss and moan and beg for scraps are expected to fund this useless appendage.

And, Goober, The "Muslim *** Kisser" award? Appropriate?

Just checking for double standards...

Funny comment about appropriateness and hypocrisy considering your offerings on non-Islamic religions and the Vatican.

Ya it was sarcastic

All in all, it was in pretty poor taste

As Das explained - We have apologists for every side on this, do we not?
As to RR he /she appears to be another idiot that was attracted by the advertising and talk of Air Miles.

Now I am off to bed - they brought in a new program today and I am going ffn nuts.

Don't be shocked about this revelation that the comment was in bad taste.... Smart move is to learn and not repeat the mistake

The mistake would be to not discuss this, and to not look at our situation for what it really is with the Muslims.

Who knows, if someone might of had the courage to speak up in the past and make us realize.

Maybe the world we live in today could been different.
Is it a bad thing that maybe, possibly we could learn from our mistake?

And what does Boston have to do with Palestine?

You're asking why a member of the UN who is, from the sounds of it, their Palestinian watchdog, would be asked to comment on Islamic terrorism? Really?

As Das explained - We have apologists for every side on this, do we not?

While I have definitely been rubbed the wrong way by Robin in a previous thread, I didn't get the response she received from you and DaS to a pretty simple statement of 'no'. The jury's still out on what kind of poster she is or isn't, but that was out of hand imo.
