Iran has been under US sanctions since 1979. These latest ones just prevent the US and her Allies from bidding on any construction/reconstruction contracts. 5 years of sanctions against Russia have not hurt Russia but they have hurt the EU nations that used to sell produce to Russia who now gets it elsewhere.

Here’s the first paragraph, note the GOP support of Trump, 83%. Angst my ass.

“President Trump’s approval rating remains stable this week with 44% of registered voters and 40% of all Americans approving of his job performance. Just one in ten Democrats (12%) approve of Trump’s job performance, while Independents (39%) and Republicans (83%) are more generous in their assessments.”
