Well when it's very hot in Nova Scotia I can with the help of Purple Cannibis conjure up a decent replication of a Mexican fishing village by the ocean. But I always wake up on the rocks in the Cobequids.

I had to look up what the Cobequids were: I'm still not sure.................:roll:

Non-alcoholic! I'm a teetotaller.

Sorry to rain on your parade. Carry on, folks.

Oh, and I'm vegan too. No meat fibers to absorb the alcohol to slow its flow towards the bloodstream, so from what I understand vegans get ge drunk faster too.

Eh, you're all wrong. The absolute best beer is the stuff my brother brews up in his basement. I dunno how he does it, I can do exactly what he tells me he does and it's not the same. Dark, strong, bitter, malty, and ice cold on a hot day there's simply no better drink. And it costs about 25 cents a bottle to make it. Beat that.

"Best", is a relative term. In hot weather, when you are hot, tired, and thirsty, many different cold beers will be like the nectar of the Gods, but in that situation I prefer a good, dark, cold, draft beer.

Right you are Mate.

But failing a free pass into your brothers cellar there are some other wonderful brews about.

Instead of buying the tried and true, mass produced, pasturerized dirty water that most
large scale brewers churn out I would urge all beer drinkers to try out a small local brewer.
Support your local brewmaster I say.
After working your way through the local small producers start picking off the
regional guys.
Canada and the United States kick out absolutely superb craft beers.
New Belgium, Fat Tire ,Rogue and Dogfish to name a few are great American brewers producing world class beer. Try Local 1 out of Brooklyn..Its one of my faves.
In Canada Unibrue in Quebec is internationally recognised as one of the best brewers in the WORLD. Try Fin de Monde or 17 , it kick's ass and takes names.

The Brits as previously mentioned produce a ton of beer and a heck of a lot of it is superb.
I love the Belgian stuff myself. The abbey ales, the farmhouse strong ales it's all good.
Mens Journal recommended a Belgian farmhouse style brew called Saison Dupont as their pick as the worlds best beer and it is indeed fairly tasty.

The next time you pick up a 24 of Molson's or Labatt's do your self a favour and pick up
a couple of bottles of real beer at the same time.
Can't hurt.
