Fact - Not all have heard of Jesus - Go back to his time. What about those in other countries such as North and South America - Africa - and so on.
It is not our place to judge God or tell Him how to conduct His affairs. Obviously, the 3 year old child who died of heart failure is not accountable for his sins....the illiterate in Africa who never heard about Jesus is not accountable either. If only, for a moment, you could imagine a loving God who wants all to be saved, you might consider approaching Him and asking Him to consider you.

Well praise God if you already have. That means that you are already under the blood brother/sister! If we confess with our lips and believe in hearts...we are saved! Praise His holy name!

What 'sins' do you expect a 3 year old child to have committed?

Exactly! That is why I ask you not to worry about how God will judge the world. He is a loving, fair, compassionate being that takes all thing into consideration. Just worry about yourself. Are you ready to die? When we travel to foreign lands, be it on a cruise to the Barbados or just to another province to visit relatives, do we not prepare for our journey? Well, what about the afterlife? Are you ready?

The funny thing is....we're never ready! When you are on your death bed...if that is allowed for you...you may want to consider Him and all the peace that He has to offer...despite the life that we have lived...He loves you unconditionally...isn't that just awesome?

Then why did you say he 'wasn't accountable for his sins'? Would a 3 year old have committed any 'sins', or not?
If not, why claim he's 'not accountable' for them? By saying that, you're implying that a 3 year old would have committed 'sins', but your 'God' would forgive him.

What kind of faked up thinking is that?

Perhaps answering the question - Posting a reply that does not answer a question is well a very poor response.

Reconsider what?
Reconsider asking you what you meant?
Reconsider wondering what the hell you're trying to say?

Let me know, what 'sins' do you expect a 3 year old to have committed?

I don't think there is too much doubt about an afterlife whatever form it takes. Whether it's tied to religion or not, I'm not sure. I not sure what vehicle will transport us there and I'm not sure what the accommodations will be like, I'm not sure what the climatic conditions will be like, I'm not sure how I will be occupying myself there, or who I'll be keeping company with, so I have absolutely no idea what chattels I will need. So how do YOU suggest I prepare? Praying doesn't accomplish a lot realistically.

Surprise ending is like Fight Club: God was just a figment of Jesus' imagination.

The original ending just confused everyone - the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost are all God, but multiple people, but God, which is one, made of multiple people.

Like Megazord?

Yes, like Megazord.

LOVELY DAY FOR AN EXORCISM ISN'T IT?
Satan and his evil host can do nothing the Lord does not allow them to do (Job 1-2).

In other words, it's God who allows everybody to be sinful, not humans or the devil..... since we're supposed to all be God's children, God is both Morally and Legally Responsible for all of our actions, including the actions of the Devil since he created him too.... yet he washes his hands clean of the mess he created and puts the onus of evil and sin in our laps.... and punishes us for it.

It's no surprise people who have problems accepting responsibility for their own actions would worship a God like this.... cuz even God doesn't accept his own responsibility and passes the buck onto everybody else.

This being the case, Satan, thinking he is accomplishing his own purposes, is actually accomplishing God’s good purposes, as in the case of Judas’ betrayal.

So it was a good thing that Satan, and in turn Judas, were manipulated into betraying Jesus and thus, Judas was sent to hell because of it (He committed suicide don't forget, and that's a sin)..... even when Jesus knew full well what was going to happen beforehand??

He let him go right ahead and do wrong, knowing exactly what was going to happen.... that's like knowing your best friend is going to kill someone and you do nothing to prevent it or report it to the police.

Such a high standard they're holding up.

Some people develop an unhealthy fascination with the occult and demonic activity.

Many do the same with religion.

This is unwise and unbiblical. If we pursue God, if we are clothing ourselves with His armor and relying upon His strength (Ephesians 6:10-18), we have nothing to fear from the evil ones, for God rules over all!

If he rules over all, then again, he is legally and morally responsible for all of our actions, our faults, our sins and our mistakes..... obviously God has failed in his job and should be the one sent to hell.

The demon distorts the truth and spews out vile utterings - mocking the precious Word of our Lord God.

There is no truth to be distorted, only the meaning of a fairy tale, which you have distorted well enough on your own without any additional help.

And some food for thought: It's not the precious word of our lord.... it's a story written by mere mortals like you and I, and other mere mortals made claims that these are the words of our lord, with no evidence or proof to back up such a claim.

Just because you blindly believe this stuff as being straight from the horses' mouth (God) and call everybody else a Demon who do not agree with you, doesn't make you anymore right.

Duck, In-between-man, else you be covered in the green vomit of the beast's servant.

Oh no.... green vomit.... I guess I should change my ways before something pukes on me.

Do not grow weary in well doing In-Between, this one will come out but through prayer and fasting. Do not address the beast, do not look into his eyes just pray and quote scripture, this will force him out.

Well your praying and quoting scripture hasn't forced me out yet.... maybe you should try plan B.

You can pray and quote the bible constantly, all day and all night.... it doesn't force anything or anybody out or away.... it just makes people see you have no real point or argument and people just get tired of listening to you & walk away.

Maybe that's what you mean.

For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous. (Rom. 5:19)

So in other words, if I continue to believe and do what I do, regardless of how much you pray and worship, you're still going to hell with me.

God loves you and Jesus died for you. You need to get right with God today.

Why?

Or else God will punish us and send us to suffer in hell for all eternity?

I thought he loved us and was so forgiving.

Jesus died for our sins, but since God created us to be sinful and he created sin in the first place, that's his fault Jesus died, so either God duped his own son to die for sins he created, or Jesus was in on the whole scheme and did so to further dupe the rest of us to take responsibility for things he created.

It's not us who need to get right with God.... God needs to get right with us.... forgiveness works both ways m'dear, and until he does ask for our forgiveness, you're not going to get many more humans to bother with him, let alone acknowledge his existence.

God doesn't even deserve this conversation.

We live in a fallen, cursed world. I don't even need to make an argument for that. Look around. There's sickness, poverty, evil actions etc. You don't want to believe in the inherited sinful nature of man because you don't want to face your own sin imo! )
No, you do need to make the argument for that if you're going to make that claim, because sickness, poverty, evil, and so on, don't make the case for it being fallen and cursed. That's merely one conceivable explanation and there are perfectly satisfactory naturalistic ones that don't involve falls and curses and postulating an angry deity. I refuse to believe in the inherited sinful nature of man because the evidence offered in support of that claim is not sufficient to justify accepting it as true. It comes from a single uncorroborated story thousands of years old that gets a lot of things wrong--like the order of creation, for instance--and isn't even internally consistent. There are no good reasons to think it's true in any literal sense, and lots of good reasons to think it's not. Really though, don't bother trying to make the argument, I've seen a lot of attempts and I'm pretty sure it can't be done without falling into multiple logical fallacies.

And your opinion is wrong. The casual arrogance typified by the way you impute that false motive to me is so deeply ingrained in many true believers that they don't even recognize it as arrogance anymore, they simply assume they can't possibly be wrong and anyone who disagrees must therefore have some low and twisted motive for doing so. I'm not interested in your opinions of my motives, you're quite incapable of understanding them and thus extremely unlikely to be right about them.

AKA: You plug your fingers in your ears and go "La La La La La La...." hoping that quoting scripture will drive the evil away.

..... It's not working, we haven't gone away. You may want to reassess your tactics and belief that spamming bible quotes fixes everything.

..... In the meantime, why don't you go buy some Depends? Then you won't have to sh*t all over the board!

Seems as though you have a problem with verbal diarrhea yourself.... he who is without sin casts the first stone don't forget. ;-)

God hates pushy people.

Indeed, didn't Jesus once say something about not shoving their teachings into other people's faces, but to let those interested come to you?

The Bible is my answer to every question that life may bring my way.

You are on a bus with a bunch of other people. You decide to sit in the back. A few stops later a monkey climbs on and sits beside you. You look down at the monkey and the monkey looks at you..... the monkey then pouts his lips, makes a fart noise, scratches his head & slaps his leg at you.

What did the Monkey communicate to you? What was he trying to say?

I'm sure the answer is in the bible there somewhere.

It is the only truth and the only way unto Salvation.

I thought believing in Jesus/God as being your savior & lord and treating others as you'd have them treat you was how you get to salvation.... so I just need to read the Bible and all is good?

Salvation comes from hearing and hearing from the Word of God.

But you read the bible, not listen to it.... or do you have the cassette version of the bible narrated by Bobcat Goldthwait?

You can keep the questions coming and I will keep the quotes coming too.

But they don't answer anything.... how does one quote answer another un-related quote?

I'm sure that answer is in the Bible somewhere too..... yet another quote to answer more quotes about other quotes.

Maybe that's why so many people believe in the Bible and Christianity, they just keep getting thrown around in a loop & get bombarded by vague quote after vague quote until the situation is so convoluted, they forget what they originally asked and just say "Fine, whatever."

Peace and Love to you all and thank you for this day of persecution, it only made me stronger! :)

Maybe that's what was wrong with George Bush.... so many people were telling him what he was doing was wrong, that he just thought he must be doing the right thing and kept screwing things up.

Indeed.... if you ignore reality, logic and reason, you can always be right and even you can have your very own Magical Land of Make-Believe in your back yard like Mr. Rogers

"Can you say delusional? Sure, I knew you could."

I don't disagree that many books (commentaries on the bible) are profitable to help us understand the bible better.
However this book seeks to distract and/or dispute the cross, the ressurection and need for salvation altogether.

May the Lord forgive your blindness!!!

I know that some of you are trying to get me to stop telling the story, the old old story of Jesus and His love.
You want me to agree that the Bible is full of sh*t and that Jesus died in vain.
You want me to say that God deserves to be punished for having created man, the world and the mess that we live in.
Didn't someone even mention a 2x4? It hurts me when you insult someone that I love so much.
However,
No matter how many of you gang up on me, I will stand up for Jesus and praise His Holy Name with my last breath.

BTW: I address this one to the mods....Did you create this "Christian Discussion" board so that you could periodically bash any and all Christians who innocently post a parable now and then? I didn't realize that it was serving that purpose. I thought that like-minded Christians could come and discuss their Lord here. Oh well, I was wrong. Perhaps you may want to change the name to "The Christian Bashing Board". Just a suggestion.

I don't know how much longer I will remain here for even the bible advises us not to cast our pearls before the swine.
Forgive me for calling you swine (I know that some of you are sincere and searching). This is why I stayed this long.

However, most of you do not want to accept forgiveness and God will not impose His free gift on anyone.

To answer a few last questions before I move on to lighter topics; this is for those of you who sincerely want to know.
1. prepare for the afterlife by accepting Jesus into your heart and ask for forgiveness of sins, this will make you right with God.
2. believe that the ENTIRE Bible is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching and correction. (II Tim. 3:16)
3. pass on the message because the end is near and God wants all to be saved (choosing Him with their own free will).

As for those of you who seek to persecute, destroy and distract anyone from coming to a knowledge of the Truth, may God have mercy on your souls.
