Happy Birthday Month Colpy !!

It's a beautiful time of the year - sniffing all the crisp air - red noses and energy
from the brisk walks - snuggling in warm jackets - even the food has more taste and the people
seem to have more zip!

September has always been my favourite. Beautiful weather, not too hot, colour everywhere later in the
month. Mornings and evenings are cool, but days are very warm. Kids are back to school and I can tear
the house apart to repair the summer damage. (of course that was years ago, but I still do it, as we
do our own summer damage, and I don't care for the house as well during the summer), so when September
arrives I still get that gigantic energy to restore the house to it's good looking stage, and prepare
it for winter.

I chose September 27th to be our wedding day 52 years ago because I love the month. I awoke on my
wedding morning to a beautiful sunny cool morning, was married at 11 a.m. big catholic wedding, (would
never do that style again), but nice pics I guess, and it made my mother in law happy, so, it's not all
about us all the time. lol

We have always loved to travel in September, roads have quieted down from the summer crowds, but weather
is still enjoyable and warm.

Wow that explains your absence - glad it was good activity - traditional - and filled with new memories.

yeah, and I guess that explains why I stay outside so much in September, as I am clinging
to the nice weather, knowing it's on it's way out. I'm not a winter person at all, and
we don't even have much of a winter, (but it's definitely not like september).

yeah, october 17th is my birthday, and I'm real good at counting backwards now. lol

:confused3:..........Gotta be Septober. Last half of Sept., first half of Oct.

Usually the sweaty crap is gone and the COLD has not yet started.

Get to see the leaves change, more birds coming to the feeders.

Can even think about putting the lawnmover away for the year.

Can take a brisk walk in the bush, carry a gun, and kill something.

But, by the end of Septober, the water is pretty cold so the canoe gets put away for the year:-(

Compared to Septober, the rest of the year pretty much sucks.

Don't even mention DeeJanuFeb..........:shaking2:too freakin cold!! An that lil' fat basturd in the red suit........:santa:Yep, you!!! bah, humbugger.
