A Muslim Reformaton is overdue. Perhaps, we are witnessing the early stages of it, right now. Our own Christian Reformation was a bloody anarchy that led to a couple of centuries of genocides, civil wars, mass migrations and the total devastation of central Western Europe for a time.

"Your brother created ISIS," college student Ivy Ziedrich told Bush during a town-hall-style meeting in Reno, Nevada, on Wednesday. "ISIS" is a common name for the militant group that calls itself the Islamic State, and the "brother" in question, of course, is former President George W. Bush.
Moments earlier, the former Florida governor had been telling the audience that President Barack Obama was responsible for the rise of the militant group. But Ziedrich, a student at the University of Nevada, Reno, replied that Bush's version of history glossed over a few key events.
"You stated that ISIS was created because we don't have enough presence and we've been pulling out of the Middle East," she said. "However, the threat of ISIS was created by the Iraqi coalition authority, which ousted the entire government of Iraq. It was when 30,000 individuals who are part of the Iraqi military were forced out. They had no employment, they had no income, yet they were left with access to all the same arms and weapons."

'Muslims' have spoken out against these attacks. The Hizbullah has. Irán has. Irán had spoken out against the Taliban too.

How much do they need to speak out about it before people notice that they are speaking out?
The sole identified perpetrator so far is a Frenchman, not a fireigner. One of the unidentified perpetrators is believed to have possessed a fraudulent Syrian passport so who knows where he is from. Honestly, they might have little connection to the Middle East for all we know.
Canada can learn that terrorists LOVE nice soft targets. Helpless people that are unable and unwilling to defend themselves.
They love people who when punched in the mouth ask what can they do to appease.

I heard in tonight's news that some news sources are saying that the terrorists entered Europe as refugees. Wouldn't surprise me if true. After all, we have seen Somalis who had been refugees from East African wars recruited by ISIS here in Gopherland. Thankfully the government snuffed out this criminal activity. Hopefully, France and other countries will do the same.

Oh that's a load of hooey; the vacuum came when Saddam was taken out and was only completed when the US left - due to Iraq wanting them gone - and the Iraqi troops failed and bailed when ISIS came knocking.
It doesn't matter if they speak out or not. A Muslim's first duty is to obey the Quran. If their leaders tell them the time has come to rise up and kill the non-believers, it is their duty to do so. That nice, friendly, peaceful Muslim guy everybody likes so much will cut your head off in a heartbeat if ordered to do so.
The Frenchman was identifies as a know terrorist sympathizer in 2010 and was kept under surveillance for a while. When it was decided that he was no real threat the surveillance stopped. There you go! If sympathizers were contained/controlled in the beginning of their identification it would prevent a lot of bloodshed and pain.
Countries need to get some real bite into their laws for containing suspects. If it takes Constitutional amendment, then get the hell on with it! Letting potential terrorists roam free is not an option any more; was it ever?
Now I believe in due process and I'love oppose any change to the Constitution that would allow the police to arrest and detain you without due process because I decided to call the police on you to settle a score with you.
If that ever happened, people would use the terrorism card against anyone they had a vendetta against. It wouldn't take long before everyone would formally accuse his enemies of being terrorists knowing full well that their testimony alone would suffice as 'proof' to imprison someone.
The day that happens, ISIS shall have one by making us lower our standards to theirs, and I for one am not ready to give ISIS any such victory over us. I'd rather die in a terrorist attack than see my country stoop to ISIS' standards, but that's just me.
Many ISIS members are Westerners and many Muslims do not consider ISIS members to be Muslims, essentially washing their hands of them.
Washing their hands is not enough, Machjo and the fact is they are Muslims whether the good guys like it or not.
