Yukon, I did look at your post #310. It was the rant of an angry man, I didn’t think it deserved any response. You were obviously rattled for being called an extremist. In your anger you make several absurd statements.

1 and 2. Sez you. Anybody can make any claims on the internet. We don’t know if they are true.

3 and 4. So now you know my personal life, do you? Perhaps my poodle, Cannuck gave you inside info. in his delusional world, he knows me personally, knows the kind of scumbag I am, but out of the goodness of his heart (ha,ha), he does not expose me (as if. If he knew anything about me, he would expose me in a nanosecond). Anyway, so have you been talking to my poodle, Cannuck? No doubt in his delusional world, what you say holds true.

5. You are an extremist, your views are nowhere near the Canadian mainstream, Canadian center (Canadian center is pro choice, pro gay marriage, anti-death penalty. You are none of these).

7, 8 and 9. Your personal opinion, nothing more.

10. At least here you give me some credit, you agree that I worship no heroes. That is something.

11. ACLU is left wing only in your extremist mind.

12. So again, are you getting your information from Cannuck? In your delusional mind, do you think that you know me personally?

13. I don’t have to, you called yourself that and I agree.

14. Homophobe? Certainly.

15 and 16. Again your opinions, nothing more.

I did’ respond to your post because it doesn’t deserve much of a response. I suggest you take your medication and calm down.

So it is not really clear to me what you are taking offense at. As I said, there is nothing I can do about my tone, but if you have a problem with something specific that I said, we could discuss it.

I have expressed all my concerns in past posts. If you do not see the issue then you are the one who is disconnected and has an issue with perception..

Tone is irrelevant in posts as we all know it is much to the discretion of those who read it.

However words do not lie and how they are written often express either a lack of proper ability of wording ( often my problem ) or a well crafted expression of subconscious views that one does not want to admit..

Let's just say I will close this topic as I don't expect any resolution and we can agree to disagree unless you can see the light..

I agree, Francis. I don’t really believe in carrying the arguments to bitter end, when both of us may say things we may regret. Let us close the argument here.

Let me just mention in closing that I have never called you an extremist, I have always found you to be a reasonable person, and I would hate to be on bad terms with you (unlike some of the Trolls).

"Let's just say I will close this topic as I don't expect any resolution and we can agree to disagree unless you can see the light."

Excellent closing argument, Francis2004.

Although we may not have seen eye to eye on all topics, on this I agree with you.

Let me just say in closing that I learned a lot from SirJosephPorter. Not that I ever want to use any of it. Name-calling does not appeal to me. Extremism is not my forte. I doubt I could ever be as sactimonious as the Master, in spite all I learned from him. I will probably still apologize and acquiesce when someone bests me with facts.

So, in spite of all I learned from him, I will just be me.

I'm extremely interested in seeing how SJP will rebut the post by Canuck....

Should be highly creative

Sorry, Captain, but I don’t even read, much less answer the posts by my poodles, my fan club, my cheering section.

And knowing his gutter mouth, the post is probably full of personal abuse towards me anyway. So I think I will pass.

im curious didnt Oboma say he was going to dissolve NAFTA?

Did he, Johnnny? I wasn’t aware of that, but you may be right. Anyway, if he did that, it was clearly a pie crust promise, easily broken. It was similar to Chrétien promising to renegotiate NAFTA, or Sheila Copps promising to abolish the GST.

So a politician breaks an election promise, big surprise there. After all is said and done, Obama is still a politician.

Fair enough. Regardless, it appears that Canuck caught you in a lie and proved the claim.

In terms of abuse, I believe that you have developed a thick skin (as most folks that peruse internet forums). This sort of thing should be like water off of a ducks back.

That is your opinion, Captain and you are entitled to it. The fact is, nobody has ever caught me in a lie, because I don’t lie.

And you are right, I have developed a thick skin. One must have a thick skin to participate in these forums. That is why I have put my poodles on ignore. Let them say what they want about me, I don’t want to know.

You are also right, the insults roll off me like water. But that doesn’t mean that I have to seek out the insults, that I have to pay any attention to those insults. The best way to ignore the Trolls whose posts are full of nothing but abuse is to put them on ignore.

"I don’t’ know about you, but I will definitely be dead in a few decades. So I don’t see any point in worrying about what will happen 50 or 100 years from now, let the next generation (or the one after) worry about that."

Those words - callous, insensitive, uncaring and shamefully disrespectful of future generations - just had to come from an extremist Catholic. You know, the type so often described with equally large degree of contempt and inaccuracy, by the fountain of all knowledge, SirJosephPorter.

Or, perhaps, from the wise, loving one, himself??? Read his post #297.

You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence.
You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.

Re #337.

Like SirJosephPorter would say, So what? Lincoln was nothing but a bigoted, racist, homophobe anti-gay Republican conservative extremist.
