If he's deemed to have the power, he then has the credibility... One can't exist without the other.

Not necessarily, Captain. He has credibility (and power) with the far right base of the Republican Party. To the rest of the country, Limbaugh has no credibility, he is an extreme right wing blowhard, a hate monger, purveyor of poison and of venom, talent on loan from his Christian God.

If the Extreme Right is (I'm just making up numbers here) maybe 5%,
and the Extreme Left is maybe 5%....leaving 90% of normal people to
debate and decide the issues....then why do we pay attention to the
extremes from either extreme of the Political spectrum? 8O

I'm I safe with a guess of 5% each for the extremes from either side?

I would tend to say we pay attention to them because regardless of their numbers they influence the average 90% of voters enough to sway the vote to their agenda driven candidates. They may not get all they want out of one politician but even if they can manage to get one item moved forward it is one less to worry about that no one would normally help them with..

Ron, the reason for that is that more and more the Republican Party is defined by the far right.

Recently Senator Specter left the Republican Party; I doubt that Senators Collins and Snow are all that happy in the party. There are very few moderates left, what few are left are on their way out.

Indeed, far right now has almost a complete stranglehold on the Republican Party. If Reagan or Goldwater had been alive today they would have been thrown out of the party as being RINO, or CINO (Republican, or conservative in name only).

Oh cut the crap. We all know very well that's just your fevered brain inventing BS and attributing it to the Republicans in order to give you an excuse to support Obama's suicidal policies.

Really Firstfire? Then what do Republicans mean when they want Obama’s policies to fail? If not 25% unemployment and 20% inflation, do they hope that Obama’s policies fail and they produce 4% unemployment and 2% inflation?

You've already been told numerous times what Republicans mean. In fact I told you very clearly what they mean in my post that you're replying to. They've made it very clear what they mean. Obamas policies of defacto nationalization of banks, auto industry, socialization of the economy and imposition of radical environmental regulations (cap and trade) will devestate the economy, perhaps for decades to come. If his policies fail, then such damage will not occur, which is why they want his policies to fail. They do NOT want a depression, they fear we are in one and that Obamas policies will exacerbate it, likely doubling its duration. They want his policies to fail so that the depression/recession will end sooner.

I'm not telling you anything new. You've been told this before. Everyone who has wished for Obamas policies to fail has explained this. But you won't (can't) debate them on the issues so you invent extreme nonsense and attribute it to them.

He cares less about the economy than the imposition of his leftist ideology. If he fails to achieve that, then the US at least has a chance to rebuild.

Sorry, Firstfire, but you have no choice in the matter; Obama has already implemented his ‘Socialist agenda’

[...]

You don’t have a choice as to whether his agenda will be implemented, it is already being implemented.

[...]

So his agenda is being (and will be) implemented, you have no choice there.

Gee, thanks for pointing that out (3 times in 1 post). I would never have known.

The Republicans are also aware of that. They're also aware that they can't stop him from proceeding. Duh! That's why they're hoping he fails because his policies, if successful, will devestate the US economy, and they don't want the economy devestated.

(That must be about 10 times that you've been told why they want him to fail, but I'll bet you still will keep spouting that BS you invented)

I guess the reason you resort to such rediculous rhetoric is because you can't refute anything he's actually said. Or do you even know anything he's actually said?
