Hard to believe that someone would go to all the trouble of producing so much of something prior to figuring out how to move it.

I am not economist but it would seem to me you should do the planning before you do the development.

It's almost like they thought getting the pipeline would be a non issue.
You can get credit for oil that is still in the ground. You can't get credit without knowing what is there. In a glut you use the cheapest product you have access to. You also use the existing infrastructure rather than upgrading anything. The gov should max out on social programs as the next jobs to be cut will include them.

Oil in the ground should probably stay there. <<<<<

Alberta's problem - and let's be honest this is all about Alberta's problem - is that oil and gas are in decline.

While it makes sense to Alberta to keep selling it as long as they can - BC will do the same with theirs - as a long term investment oil and gas are not what you want to get into.

Renewables and alternatives are the future.

Well the future isn't here yet, and the next great energy source isn't here yet as well, so until then we will be pumping Oil, and while we are pumping Oil there are profits to be made by anyone that wants to be apart of it. If you do not want to be apart of the Oil/Gas crowd good get off your High Horse and ride your Lithium bomb.

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is working to ensure nuclear power is part of the province's future with approved plans for a $12.8-billion refurbishment of four nuclear reactors at the Darlington generating station, just east of Toronto.

Dead eh?

Ontario unveils $12.8B Darlington nuclear refurbishment - Toronto - CBC News

Why spend $12.8B when wind is the future of ON power?

You and Walter need to invest heavily in Cameco.

Nothing but blue skies ahead for uranium.

The problem with nuclear is that is is being phased out of the developed world and phased into the developing world, such that there is a net reduction in plants and therefore in demand. Although China is building 22 of them Japan has shut down 50. Although India is building 6 of them France is shutting down 25.

The math is not good for nuclear.

How eco friendly.... the future looks so bright (other than those things that get charred beyond all recognition from exploding batteries that is)

Needs 70% less fuel.

When perfected the waste heat recovery system will probably eliminate the fuel requirement altogether.

But don't worry. That might take 3 years.

I was just reading on your concept truck 70% better fuel economy than their 2009 trucks, 12mpg better, yeah I'm not going to lose sleep over losing my job because of the Volvo's fuel efficiency. Good luck in 3 years LOL

Take a drive up the Coq. and see for yourself the pipeline expansion in progress .

He does not realize that there is such a thing as a north east B.C. oil patch .
