well looks like Vancouver canucks have their team set for the opening game in Calgary on Wednesday.
vey, biega, and corrado all have been put on waivers today, hoping they will clear and move on to
utica farm team.
this means that they have decided to reward the new kids, who all had excellent training camps, and
start them when the season starts on Wednesday.
they have earned the start, and heres wishing them all luck, along with the rest of the team, and
hoping they can play their way into staying after their 9 games.
ben hutton is 22 yrs old, came from college, doesn't need to have the 9 game test, he can be sent
down and up without waivers if need be.
markstrom has played very good hockey all thru training camp, and miller looks healthy and sharp.
the veterans can push themselves to the next level now that league games are starting, it is obvious
that they save a bit as they don't want to be injured before the season starts, so they protect
themselves, I understand that, it is smart.
Desjardin is behind the bench for good now, as he had a hip replacement done in the off season, and
has been recovering steadily, and didn't coach every game in training camp, but will now.
I wish them all a good season, just hoping like last year, that they make the playoffs in a very
very tough division, they will have to battle all season, it won't be easy.
