Three reasons 1. They're an old dynasty with lots of loyal fans for support. 2. Carey Price 3. P.K. Subban (and #4 I want them to win)
dynastys are dead. lots of loyal fans for all teams in the playoffs, even tampa bay, they get a good turnout.
lots of players in the playoffs As good or better than subban, yes, price can do it all, but i don't want
a team to win on the back of their goalie, i want a team to win as a real team, including their goalie.
i always cheer for a western team against an eastern team. i love the islanders, want them to win
the east, but in the stanley cup, if they are there, i won't be on their side. i like the rangers too,
and i think they are the strongest eastern team.
the next series between minnesota and chicago should be really good, two very tAlented, fast teams, who
can win along with their goalies, and ican't pedict which team will come out the victor.
anaheim and calgary is a curious one for me, i'm looking forward to watching how they play each other,
won't be anything like the first two, calgary are not big, but they Are fAst, goAlkeeping willbe very
important for them. anaheim are big and talented too, should be interesting. if anaheim's defence
aren't fast and mobile, they could have trouble with those fast forwards for calgary, but it also
might be a cakewalk for anaheim, we'll see.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
just remembered my tally of what teams have' how' many canadian players-- just curious, i like to know.
calgary - 17
anaheim - 15
montreal - 15
washington- 14
islanders - 13
chicago - 13
rangers - 11
minn. - 10
tampa - 8
detroit - 7
calgary definitely the real canadian nhl team.
and also, if calgary continue to win i will follow and cheer for them, as they
are in our pacific division, that is kudos for us if they win, don't think they will,
same for anaheim, our division.
