I mix a little balsamic vinegar into grape-seed oil, makes a very tasty dressing for salad.
I do make sure I have a little essential fats each day, it is necessary.
When I buy yogurt I buy whole yogurt, not fat free like I used to, it tastes better, and gives
some essential fats the body needs.
But I use only skim milk, except for my 'one' cup of coffee each day, (cream). I love to drink
milk, skim milk tastes just as good as whole milk, one just had to get use to the lack of thickness
when tasting, but that doesn't take long, and now I don't like whole milk, too thick, skim milk gives
a better thirst quenching feel in the mouth.
It is more important to reduce 'portions', when serving, than spend time worrying about everything
being fat free, but also cancel out very 'bad' foods, high on salt, and snacky stuff.
We love sweets, but have goodies like we take a vitamin, one a day, small portion.
I love chocolate, and keep dark chocolate in the house all the time, 'two small squares' a day, no more.
