Jesus was the first Anarchist! And he was probably fairly liberal and anti-religious. Paul screwed the whole thing up by making him a god and starting a religion about him.

One thing's for sure ~ Jesus wasn't a money grubbing capitalist.

While many right wing tv talibangelist types use their 'churches' to get tax free harvests by putting businesses on their property, Jesus chased away greedy money grubbers from his churches with a whip.

What was the wage for a non union carpenter in those days?

Acts 4:31-35 The Believers Share Their Possessions

31 After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.

32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.

33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all

34 that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales

35 and put it (the money) at the apostles’ feet, and it (money) was distributed to anyone who had need.
- they were all filled with the Holy Spirit

- All the believers were one in heart and mind.

- No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own,

- but they shared everything they had.

- and it (money) was distributed to anyone who had need

- that there were no needy persons among them

A system of sharing, while under the influence of the Holy Spirit, can't be all bad!

Yup, Jesus was a Socialist. Must really stick in the craw of the religious and political right.
