To you this is the dumbest post because it shows the hypocrisy of the right. Why is right wingers preach about morals and such and can be the biggest violators?

Things that make you go hmmmmm.

Her daughter is a ****, isn't she? Oh, that's right, only godless liberals have ****ty teens.:lol:

What are you on about?

Don't be an idiot.

Socrates was comparing shooting animals with aborting babies, in fact he was comparing human life with animal life..

You can read English, can't you?

Oh, I suppose, as a card-carrying lefty moron, you think stopping a baby at term in the birth canal, smashing its skull open and scrambling its brains with forceps is FINE (its called partial-birth abortion, perfectly legal in Canada), but shooting a caribou is a crime against all that is good in the world.

Talk about idiocy and hypocracy!

And, I suppose her daughter wouldn't be a **** if she had 4 or 5 abortions, that would have been her right!

Talk about hypocracy.

And, BTW, do you actually think ANY parent controls their teenagers' behaviour? Or is responsible for their rebellion?

If you do, you've never raised a child.

Yet there is a hint of truth to it.

Justification for eating meat draws down on the idea that you use all the animal. We do see that with the beef industry, hide, lips and assholes, hoofs for glue, yada yada yada.
But trophy hunting, like the bear that was sitting in her livingroom, isn't used in the same way.

So I can see a connection, as weak as it is. It's always the best practice to use all of what you kill. But you need to use it for what you need to justify killing the animal.

That aside, this is just one more thing that shows all politicians are stinkers and not fit to run a two holer out back of the hunting lodge.

What bothers me about her is that the first thing that everyone brings up is that she's a great and wonderful mother, all the right morals, all the right beliefs, all that ****. But now, all of a sudden, we're supposed to give her daughter privacy and keep her out of the limelight, while her son is still being used as a trophy for the anti-abortion crowd.

So which is it - are her kids fair game for the election campaign, or are they not? Pick one, and stick with it. If we're supposed to leave her daughter out of it, then her son, and therefore her decision to not have an abortion, have to be kept out of it, too.

The kid's baby daddy is a prize too!

Johnston describes himself on his MySpace page as a "f***in redneck" who likes to snowboard and ride dirt bikes, but "I don't want kids", according to US reports.
"I like to go camping and hang out with the boys, do some fishing, shoot some s- - - and just f - - -in' chillin' I guess," he wrote before his MySpace page was removed. "Ya f - - - with me I'll kick [your] ass."

heh heh heh Oh it's a grand ole party!

I see the connection as well, and touched base on it in another thread a while back. You can't call yourself "Pro-Life" just because you're against abortions, as the term loses all meaning when you kill for fun/sport/pleasure.

And killing an animal for fun/sport/pleasure isn't the same as hunting it for food..... it's just to make them feel like they got big balls between their legs.... of course that opens up a whole other topic about her.

But to me, it's not so much the general connection of killing for sport and being against abortions.... to me, it's got more to do with the term "Pro-Life" someone labels themselves as, at the same time shooting off M4's, displaying pictures of animals you've killed and now have draped around your house, on your couch, over your fireplace...... to me, that's just a blaitent contradiction in beliefs.

If you're going to be against abortions, but still for the killing of any and all animals under the sun for your own pleasure, then "Pro-Life" shouldn't be used to identify that person.

Oh.... and was that one of the crabs the doctor pulled out from between her legs? I figured she was dirty, but I only thought that was just in her politics. :p

Exactly.... she's a god damn hypocrite.... she uses her children as pawns, yet as soon as something negative comes up, it's all hands off and none of our business.

What a country.

Baloney.

You are discussing the philosophy of an evangelical Christian, one who believes in the immortal soul, the special place of human life in the scheme of things. One who believes humanity was granted "dominion" over all living things by God Almighty.

To such a person, treating human life and animal life with the same set of rules would be like saving a cucumber while allowing a child to die.......it is totally foreign to their philosophy.

As it is to mine.

No hypocracy there at all. None.

BTW, all you anti-grizzly hunters.........would you care to live in grizzly country where the grizzlies aren't afraid of man?

And have none of you ever eaten bear meat? I have. Black bear, mind you, I don't know if grizz is edible.

BTW, the last comment belongs on the school yard, uttered by a 12 year old.

On TV last night Jesse Ventura said the GOP reminded him of the Nazi party. He said it uses the Herman Goering principle of instilling fear to get patriotism for political gain.

For the record he is not voting for Obama either.

Firstly, I couldn't give a crap what you Socrates were talking about.

Oh yes, when con kids get knocked up it's always hard to control them but had it been a Liberal it would have been pegged down as immoral parenting and free love dude.

You would figure under the circumstance that the nutty religious wacko's in the GOP would reject Palin.....will they? She can't raise a child how on earth is she going to be VP even though she has no clue what the VP does.

Interesting vetting process the GOP has, about as good as GWB's intelligence gathering before his illegal and unnecessary war. More of the same con magic of jumping to conclusions.

It's okay though, defend her like I know you will.

Yup, I know about how righteous they think their sh*t smells, but that doesn't make them right, nor any less contradicting/hypocritical in their thinking processes..... and on top of that, once again, politicians shouldn't have any right to dictate or impose their own religious beliefs on the rest of a nation, which a very good chunk doesn't follow thier beliefs in the first place.

In fact this has been directly been discussed within the US on whether or not politicians should be allowed to milk religious wind bags based on their beliefs in order to get votes..... guess things haven't been decided just yet apparently.

To such a person, treating human life and animal life with the same set of rules would be like saving a cucumber while allowing a child to die.......it is totally foreign to their philosophy.

As it is to mine.

No hypocracy there at all. None.

Sure there is... perhaps not to you or to people like her.... but guess what? Not everybody thinks as you do, just as not everybody thinks the way I do, as you prove this in the above.... but just because you don't think there is any hypocracy or what we are talking about is forign to you, doesn't mean your opinion is absolute.

Mine isn't absolute either.... so if the answers and opinions are not absolute and not everybody agrees with them, then why should one side of the argument be used as an absolute in running for office of any country in the first place?

She's trying to impose her own "Morals" and opinions on the rest of the nation, and at the same time, trying to suck in other religious into getting her into a position where they can impose their religious morals and opinions onto everybody else.

Besides what I already explained as being hypocritical and contradicting, the situation she and McCain are trying to create will only cause even more problems and issues, while not actually dealing with the more important ones people in the US are facing everyday.

That's where I have the biggest issue. Church should remain inside church and your family's home.... it should not be imposed onto others in their own everyday lives.... they have the right to choose their own paths, it should not be forced apon them.

BTW, all you anti-grizzly hunters.........would you care to live in grizzly country where the grizzlies aren't afraid of man?

I already live in an area with a high concentration of Bears..... and nobody in my family, when camping, out on the lake, or otherwise, has had to shoot a bear for years. There are many other alternatives to dealing with bears, other then shooting them.

And you make it sound like she had no choice in killing the bear she has layed out on her couch..... based on the various photos of her showing off her kills while hunting with her buddies, I hardly doubt she had to defend herself against this bear she has decorating her home.... otherwise, I'm sure we would have heard all about that long ago, in order to pump her up as some rambo for the ladies.

And have none of you ever eaten bear meat? I have. Black bear, mind you, I don't know if grizz is edible.

Once again, there's a difference between Trophy Hunting, and Hunting for Food. In fact our own nation allowing Americans to head to our north to go hunting our polar bears for trophys is pretty sick all on its own. I mentioned in the past that their population is probably still in good standing, but just for the sake of a sport or trophy for forigners, I do not agree on.

BTW, the last comment belongs on the school yard, uttered by a 12 year old.

Yeah well I like to think I still have some of my youth left :p

Agreed.... yet more hypocracy. The Republicans love dishing it out to the Democrats and others who promote more freedom of choice then they, but when the shoes on the other foot, oh, it's a totally different story.... you can't talk about that, it's private, blah blah blah.....

You would figure under the circumstance that the nutty religious wacko's in the GOP would reject Palin.....will they? She can't raise a child how on earth is she going to be VP even though she has no clue what the VP does.

That and she's been hiding in Alaska forever now, how are people to expect she knows what the vast majority of Americans want, let alone, how to deal with other nations around the world / forign affairs? I'm sure she can do just fine in her little bubble up in the North West, but all in all, McCains pick was a lame duck and hasn't helped his position at all..... not unless he and her can strike absolute fear into the super religious that their worlds going to end unless they vote for them.... then we'll have a big religious war going on down there in the politics and soon enough, we'll not only have racist biggots trying to take shots at Obama..... we'll have the same christian extremists who blow up abortion clinics and shoot doctors, also taking pot shots at Obama.

That's American Democracy for you I suppose.

Interesting vetting process the GOP has, about as good as GWB's intelligence gathering before his illegal and unnecessary war. More of the same con magic of jumping to conclusions.

It's okay though, defend her like I know you will.

Indeed.... nothing has changed. It's the same story, with different words and another woman to ease the eyes of the republicans, as that hedious monster Rice sure as hell didn't do it enough I guess.

Oops.... did I goto far with my opinion again?

....not only that, but one of the concerns about Obama is his inexperience in foreign affairs? Are we hearing this about Palin should a 72 year old man with a history of skin cancer drop dead?

They also keep referring to Ronald Reagan. Reagan began losing his marbles during his second term and McCain is as old as Reagan was during that term.

From last night's convention, I've learned 5 things:
1. Get on or Get Lost
2. We the White
3. Angry left are bad--anti-christ
4. Roar more war and war's good
5. Palin and her viewpoints are lost somewhere in the trash.
6. McCain & America are sooo fun to watch.
7. Worlds gonna end soon in 2012.
Oh...that's 7
